That itself is the object of cognition, because it cannot be established without being made an object. However, if someone thinks that what is understood from sound is only the image of cognition, and does not touch the thing itself, then how can this cognition have an effect on the external object? The answer is: Cognition is not the same. Because such an image of wisdom arises. It means that cognition, that is, the thing that expresses the image of cognition, does not produce the same fault, because it produces wisdom with such an image, that is, wisdom with the image of the object. Just like the wisdom that arises from the awakening of habits, because it thinks that its own image is the function of a special object, people see it having an effect on the external object, so there is no contradiction at all. However, if someone thinks that the cognition arising from the sound of the Vaibhashikas, which has the image of name and cause, also clings to the name and cause themselves and has an effect on the external object. The answer is: It is not so for others, because wisdom does not admit it. The external object appears as a thing. Even if it is admitted, being different from cognition is not measurable. Because there is no established contradiction. For this, for others who want to express names and other things, if there is no cognition with an image, then how can it have an effect because of confusion? Why? Because it is not admitted that wisdom with such an image appears as an external object. Cognition itself is without image, while the external object is with image. Names and causes are not fabricated on things, just like names, etc., or not understanding and clinging to the nature of things, if so, if the cognition arising from sound clings to names, etc. as self-nature, then how can it cling to the self-nature of things? It is unreasonable to say that clinging to one's own self-nature is understanding it as the self-nature of another. If one does not understand names, etc., how can one understand it as the image of things? Because it is too much. Just like everything is understood as the self-nature of everything. However, if someone thinks that cognition has the image of name and cause, because saying that cognition with an image comes from the power of valid cognition. Here the answer is: If you admit it, that is, admit cognition with an image.
