If it is said that there is no birth because there is no result, if the aggregates of sense faculties are allowed to arise, then that is also inferred to be without result. Even so, it is not the case that form and so on are understood from sound. Therefore, in order to be expressed, the general characteristic is not the nature of form and so on. However, the nature of name and reason is the general characteristic, which is to be expressed by sound, and form and so on are the objects of the eye and so on, so if it is said that the aggregates of sense faculties are not meaningless, then it is said here: If names and so on are what is spoken, then there is a speaker. The listener's speech is related to what follows. If names and so on are not related, they will not enter into meaning. Here it is said that speech enters into name, and name enters into reason. Because reason clarifies meaning. Thus, if it is admitted that names and so on are expressed, then it is said to be an action that possesses names and so on. At what time is it related to the speaker? Is it related to the listener? Or is it related to meaning? If we examine the four cases where it is not related to anyone at any time, then, if it is thought that names and so on related to the listener and the speaker are expressed by sound, then in that case it will not enter into the meaning of the external object, because it is known that names and so on are related to the listener and the speaker. It will not be possible to understand that the different objects are different, and if one enters into a state of not understanding, then one will enter into everything, and certainty will also become meaningless. If because of similarity in meaning, entry is made through confusion, it is not universal. What is called non-confusion in the object, However, if names and so on are understood from those similarities in any meaning, then entry will be made through confusion in meaning, and meaning is the external object. For example, if one of a pair of twins is spoken of, because of the similarity, one will be confused and enter into the other, if this is said, that is not correct. How can the knowledge arising from the sound that holds names and reasons be confused? Even if it is confused, it will become without an object. In this way, names and so on cannot become holders, because they do not hold the nature of names and so on. When one's own nature appears, knowledge is what holds things, otherwise it is not. However, names and so on are also other names.

If it is related to this, then the series of names etc. will become long. Therefore, for twins etc., the knowledge of holding names etc. is not a proven example of error. There, too, it is from sound that names etc. are understood. Even if names etc. are understood, how can one enter the self-nature of things like twins etc.? Therefore, since the argument is the same, how can twins etc. be an example? Even if admitted, although it is possible to enter through error from the similar way of expression, it is not always the case. Even if twins etc. are determined as one, it is not always the case that they only enter the other, because it is seen that they enter the movement itself. For those with bodies and those without bodies, if there is no similarity, and there is no similar way, how can it be an error? For example, the self-nature of form etc. is an outsider, while names etc. are without bodies. Otherwise, how can it be a non-possessing action? Furthermore, there will be no error in the object. If in the object of the speaker and listener, one is driven by names etc., how can one know the aspect of things? When speaking of twins in their respective determined objects, it is not possible to understand the similarity with that which is in another object. However, even if the self-nature is not spoken of in the speaker's object, but because it is spoken of in the way of names, is it also understood through error in the object? If so, then since the object is not spoken of, how can one enter the aspect of things? When speaking of names without an object, no one will enter the form etc. related to the object. However, if one clings to names and form etc. as one, and enters the external object, then, for this, is it that names etc. are attached to the external object? Or is it that the outsider is attached to names etc., it is necessary to examine these two situations. If the self-nature of names etc. is attached to the external object, then in that case, is it not that names etc. themselves are understood? How can one enter the external object? It is reasonable to enter wherever knowledge appears, and not elsewhere, because that would be too extreme. However, if the self-nature of things is attached to names etc., then the external object itself will be understood, and not names etc. Whatever is considered to exist in the external object
