Therefore, the collection of senses and so on is not its sign. However, if it is thought that any one of the forms and so on is a result of consciousness, that is also not the case, because two of them are directly perceived, namely: "Whatever is born from seeing form, One of the five objects is not seen, Otherwise, there is the possibility of clarity." Among these, among the forms and so on, the two, sense organs and consciousness, are directly perceived, therefore they are the result or sign. Among the five objects of form and so on, there is not a single object that is born from seeing form. If that is the case, for one who has not understood seeing form, it is possible to have clarity, that is, it is born without being made. So, if it is thought that even if one does not understand the forms and so on that are born from seeing form, just by being close, it can make consciousness understand, then, "What is the use of knowing like that, Saying it is a sign is a laughing matter." As it is said, if a thing does not have something to be proven like that, and it is not known by its own nature, then saying that it is a sign of consciousness just because it is close, these are causes of great laughter. Not understanding the experience of direct perception, one does not understand the nature of forms and so on, therefore it is not a sign at all. Or, even if it is allowed to understand the object, but that is not a sign, because: "Although there is the existence of a sign, But that is not seen together with it, How can that sign be understood, If it is not seen, it is not clear." Even if there are signs of form and so on, how can the consciousness of a person who has not seen that sign together with the signs of form and so on understand? Because a sign does not make it clear without being seen before, but certainty arises from seeing the smoke of fire. However, if one first understands consciousness from the sign of form and so on itself, and then infers after that, then how can one understand the things seen by direct perception through other inferential measures? If it is thought that there is no certainty in this, then: "If it is said that from that sign, This has already been established, then it needs to be established, Other examples are in that."

I say it becomes an endless transformation. It is said that from the very signs of form, etc., to what needs to be proven, such as the mind, if the mind accepts it at the time of knowing the connection beforehand, then its example also needs other examples. Because inference is not allowed without an example, it will become endless. If you say that the mind is known through understanding the meaning, that is not correct. If the mind is established, then what else is there at that time? If the realization is not established, then the realization of meaning will not arise. Then, what is this so-called realization of meaning? If it is said to be made the object of realization, then is it not the case that without comprehending the realization itself, it is not established as the object of realization? If you say that realization is just being in front, then how can the mind understand without realizing what is in front? If you say that being in front is realization itself, then at that time, it also has other things in front, so it will become endless. Therefore, whether it is being in front or something else, because the dharma of meaning is not a sign that establishes the mind. Therefore, the mind can establish meaning, but meaning can never establish it. If the mind is not established, then the meaning itself will not be completely established. Thus it is said. Therefore, the mind can establish meaning, but it will never be established from the realization or non-realization of meaning. Even if the mind is not established, the meaning itself will not be established. When the mind itself universally sees the meaning, then it will be realized, but if it is not so, then nothing will be realized, because one will not realize everything by oneself, because the function of the mind is not seen. Furthermore, even after seeing the direct perception of the mind, its movement, speech, etc., will not infer the minds of others, because the connection of the self is not seen. It is said that according to your view, without seeing the mind on oneself with direct perception, seeing its movement, that is, the movement of the body and speech, that is, the differences in the state of the body, etc., will not infer the minds of others existing in the continuum of others, because the connection between the mind and movement, etc., on oneself is not seen. Not seeing is also because the mind is not direct perception. Therefore,
