Because it is not seen. Because understanding from meaning is also reasonable only from seeing the connection. That is also not there. If it is said that one of the senses etc. is a sign, therefore, it is said, "Because there is confusion on it, it is not a sense." That is, on it, among the senses etc., the sense is not a sign, because it will be confused. A sign is because it is not confused. The senses are not not confused for the mind, because it has been promised as a cause. The power of the cause is also certain to see the result, if the result of the sense is knowledge is not established, then by what will it become a sign? Similarly, object and mind, attention, are knowledge, those also cannot be established. Not established is not the sign itself. To the words, "Similarly, object and mind, attention, are knowledge, those also cannot be established. Not established is not the sign itself." Similarly, however, it is not a sign, that is also like the senses, because it is the nature of confusion. Mind and attention those are also knowledge, therefore those are not directly established. Therefore, because it is the nature of knowledge, mind and attention are not established, it is not a sign. If it is said, even if it is not established, is it not a sign just by existing? That is not so, because if smoke etc. are not established, it is not the sign itself. If even if it is not established it is a sign, then at that time everything will become a sign, therefore everything will establish everything. For that very reason, it is said, "If it is not established, then it is not the sign itself." If the clarity of the object is a sign, if it is thought, is that not knowledge? That is, similarly, the clarity of the object exists, that is a sign of the mind. Like this, the object is not clear just by existing, because it would be a fault that all objects are clear. Therefore everything will become all-knowing. Therefore, the mind makes the object clear, that is its sign. On it, that itself makes the object clear, that is also because it is direct perception, so is the mind also direct perception? However, the nature of clarity is also not a sign, because that is hidden. However, "By this is the clarity of the object clear, clarity is not experience, because that clarity is not certain." Thus it is said, the clarity of the object is considered to be a sign of direct perception mind.

Furthermore, the clarification of meaning is also clarified by this very thing. If clarification is not established, it is said that clarification is not established, then the clarification of meaning cannot be established as a sign of consciousness. What is the reason? Because when one has not experienced clarification, the meaning of clarification will not know clarification itself. Therefore, because the meaning of clarification is not established, it is not a sign. However, the difference in meaning is joy. If you want that clarification, then. It means that the nature of consciousness is not clarification, but if it is said that some differences in meaning have the characteristic of being able to appear in the function of consciousness, then it is not so, because of what? In the meaning of arising and destruction, there is not the slightest difference. It means that for any meaning that does not have arising and destruction, there is not the slightest difference in the dharma of consciousness. If the meaning itself has a difference in the nature of clarification, then this is knowledge, what does other knowledge do? It has been shown. Therefore, there is no difference in the meaning of permanence. However, if it is said that at the time of knowledge, the meaning of the nature that can appear will arise, then, in this case, if you also think so, then in each knowledge, it will become the fault of momentary destruction. It means that if you think that that difference will produce different differences in knowledge and knowledge, then it will become the fault of momentary destruction, therefore, at the time of knowledge, because the self-awareness of the unawakened nature is not momentary, so what is the point of examining other meanings? Also, that is also a transformation of knowledge or non-knowledge. It means that the difference in meaning, whether it is the nature that can appear or non-knowledge, which one will become a sign of consciousness? If knowledge is a sign, then, without completely determining knowledge, how do you know this is knowledge? It means that now if the difference in meaning itself is a sign of consciousness, then, in this case, without realizing knowledge, how can you determine that this difference is knowledge? However, if the difference itself is completely determined, then consciousness will become meaningless, because the difference itself is knowledge. However, if the difference of non-knowledge is a sign, then, in this case, knowledge itself is completely cut off, then how can it become a knower? It means that the difference in that meaning
