It is not. That is produced by difference from mere things. Seeing things is also appearance. It becomes only the nature of things. Therefore, it is produced by what has become apparent. Whatever is white, etc., when experiencing the nature of manifest clarity, fully manifest, when seen in white, etc., a person will distinctly and certainly appear. Is what is experienced a nature different from the manifest clarity of white, etc.? Or, is it the nature of the self of manifest clarity of white, etc.? To that, if what is experienced is a nature different from the manifest clarity of white, etc., then: If the clear ones are other things, If not clear, how is white clear? If the appearance of clarity is the nature of another, then, with the non-manifestation of white, etc., as the cause, how can the knowledge of white become clear? It is not. What is not clear does not make anything clear. Therefore, that which experiences the nature of clarity is the mind's self-awareness. If the other is a hidden mind, such as the eye consciousness, etc., then, a mind other than the eye consciousness, etc., is not established by valid cognition. Because it is established that things are seen only through the eye consciousness, etc. Or, if the hidden mind is produced from the eye consciousness, etc., so it is manifest? Even if that mind is allowed to arise, how can things become clear? Is it not that what is produced by another cannot know another? Because it is too extreme. Or, because a mind arises about things, therefore things are known? What is the connection to this so-called mind of things? If it is said that the mind sees things, then is it not not admitting that it has not seen? How is it known as seeing? Or, is it merely that things are able to appear? What is this so-called able to appear? Is it merely things? Or, is it something else? If it is merely things that are able to appear, then it will always be so. Or, if what is able to appear is something else, then, at that time, this will also be known by another, and from that, there will be another able to appear, and likewise, that which is able to appear will be known, and from that, there will be another able to appear.

Therefore, it will become endless. If it is said that experience is clear, that is not the case. Because of what? "Knowledge is clear, but not clear, therefore all travelers will not become clear." The meaning of this sentence is that things other than knowledge are not clear, however, the clarity of knowledge is the self-nature of knowledge. Also, because it is not manifest, all travelers will not become clear. If clarity is the self-nature of things, then all things will become clear. If things have their own different characteristics and become clear, then knowledge becomes meaningless. If it is not clear by its own self-nature, but clarity is clarified by other things, then there will be such a situation: "Clarity is clarified by other clarity, therefore it will fall into an endless state." The meaning of this sentence is that if clarity is clarified by other things that were not clear beforehand, then the clarity of that other thing will also fall into an endless state because it is known by other things. Therefore, clarity is the self-nature of self-evidence, otherwise it will not be understood as "this is clear." Because of what? "The seer and the associated ignorant, how can there be a difference at that time? If one of the two is recognized, the second seer is not there." The meaning of this sentence is that for any thing, if there is ignorance associated with seeing, then how can it be distinguished by knowing "the seer sees things with seeing"? If seeing itself is not cognition, then it cannot grasp the things that it distinguishes, because it is known. Then, isn't the word cow recognized by distinguishing the characteristics of seeing a cow? Similarly, even if seeing is not recognized, will it definitely be determined? "When the two are mixed and seen, the name of the seer will definitely be determined." It is said that if the connection between things and knowledge is seen, then it will definitely be determined as seeing. Therefore, it will show like this: a cow is the self-nature transformed from a non-cow, and there is no difference from its own characteristics. You do not admit that seeing is the self-nature transformed from non-seeing, if that is the case, things will become self-evident, therefore. Therefore, seeing is clear, if it is unknown, then how can it
