Thus, since it is explained in that treatise that the aspect of establishing and holding through action, there is no contradiction. Therefore, for external objects, self-awareness is the result, and its aspect is the measure. Is it not reasonable for consciousness to have aspects? If consciousness is transformed with the aspect of the object, like the surface of a mirror. Thus, the eyes and so on should also appear, like everything appears when close to a mirror, but the eyes and so on do not appear. Or, the eye is the cause of appearance, like a mirror. If so, then the visible forms and so on should appear in the eye, like all appearances appear in a mirror. However, like a mirror, although consciousness is clear, the object does not appear, but because it abides on the object of a suitable object, consciousness must produce the aspect of the object, because it is born from that object. If so, then since consciousness is born from the eye, should it not become the aspect of the eye? Therefore, the eye should also become awareness, if so. Here is the answer: Because all external consciousnesses, are born from objects, although there are other causes besides them, the aspect is made by the object. It is said that, because all consciousnesses are born from whatever objects. Whatever aspect is made by the object, like this, although the senses and so on are the cause other than that object, they do not have that aspect, and merely being born does not become that aspect. Like this, for example, food and time, etc., are the cause of the birth of a child, but they hold the aspect of the parents, not others, nor both. It is said that, although the cause of the birth of a child is food and time, etc., the son will hold the related part of either of the parents, not other things like food, nor will he hold the form of both parents. Similarly, consciousness is also the aspect of the object, not others. Or, although consciousness has the aspect of the object, the eye does not have the aspect, if so, then because it is a mirage, it should become awareness, if so. Object and that

other than that. Even if that is the same in terms of cause, its part is considered the object. If there is no it, that will not arise. It is said that even if the object and things different from the object are the same as the cause of consciousness, only the object is considered the object. The part that does not follow it does not change the object, etc. The cause of consciousness with that image is the object, which is its definition. However, appearance is not consciousness, because there is no self-awareness. Memory is also not self-awareness, because what is remembered is the image of things. Therefore, it should be examined whether things are experience. Because things appear and are remembered. Consciousness is not experience, nor is it memory, because it knows things themselves. Therefore, since it is not suitable for self-memory, there is no consciousness that becomes self-awareness, and there is no image of that thing. Therefore, for the view that consciousness has two aspects, the present moment will cause damage, and analogy cannot establish that consciousness has two aspects, because the damage caused by the present moment itself is not a view. It is also said that if the relationship is grasped from the example, and the inference is made depending on the grasp, then there is no example for establishing consciousness with an image, because the image is not established anywhere. If you say so, for the mind with the nature of things: it must be without the image of things. When holding on to past things, the two aspects and self-awareness are established. It is said that for the eye consciousness with things, it may be suspected that it does not have the image of things, because the existing image is the nature of things. For the mind that does not have things, such as hair, etc., and holding on to past things, because there is memory, the two aspects and self-awareness are established. The consciousness of holding on to past things, etc., is not obvious, and saying so itself is damaged by the present moment. When holding on to past things, etc., what appears is its own nature. Therefore, for all consciousness, what appears is its own nature. If when holding on to past things, etc., there is also something called "class", then answer:
