Nor is it. However, how can it clearly understand the meaning through direct perception? For example, when all people see blue, it indicates that it is not the object grasped by externalists. The appearance of blue itself should also be regarded as direct perception, not other meanings. Therefore, these such as blue should be understood separately through direct perception, direct perception is only the nature of self-awareness. The sixth saying of "experiencing blue" is also established by conceptual thought, like the body of a bubble. However, if it is said that it is the nature of knowledge when measuring different things for the sake of experience, it is not reasonable. If it is said that things exist in the realm of being experienced, then experience is the object of things. In response, it is said: There is no other object to be experienced by the mind, and if there is no other to experience it, then there is the same dispute about it, therefore, it is self-manifesting. That is to say, there is no other object to be experienced by that experience, because the experience has no form, so it cannot be related to things. If it is said that there is another experience to recognize that experience, then there is no other experience to recognize that experience, because there is also the same dispute for the experience that holds that experience. If experience merges into its own nature, how can it be recognized by others? If direct perception is its own nature, it is also different, because by mutually following, knowledge will become one. Therefore, things and knowledge are not recognized by others, so knowledge is only manifested by itself. If everything is self-awareness, then one will experience one's own nature, then how can one establish the name "experiencing blue"? Because there is no experience of blue. In response, it is said: Its blue and other nature is self-nature, and experience is also, becoming the way of experiencing one's own nature, it is called experiencing blue and so on. That is to say, the experience of knowledge is the nature of blue and so on.

That is, blue and so on are also the nature of experience, because they are not present in experience. Therefore, although it is one's own nature, it is said to experience blue and so on. If one thinks that blue is different and says that one experiences blue, that is not correct, because blue and experience are not considered different. Therefore, blue is self-awareness. Then, how can the mind with the appearance of blue clearly manifest itself? Because it is contradictory to act on one's own nature. Isn't it true that the blade of a sword cannot cut itself? Furthermore, if blue and so on are illuminated by a lamp and so on, how can it be self-awareness? Answer: The illuminator, by its own nature, is illuminated, because it is itself. As one wishes to manifest illumination, so the mind is self-aware. The meaning is, just as a lamp manifests light, because it is the nature of light. Just as one wants one's own nature to manifest light, the nature of the manifestation of light, which is the nature of blue and so on, is awareness. It is contradictory to act on one's own nature, and by what valid cognition is this known? The example of the sword blade alone cannot accomplish the meaning, because the example is not a proof. If the example of the sword blade shows that acting on oneself is contradictory, then, because there is also a lamp that illuminates itself, the mind of blue and so on will also become self-aware. However, just as a lamp illuminates a vase, and the lamp itself is seen by the eye, therefore, if the lamp does not illuminate itself, how can it be an example? Then, how is the vase seen in the light of the lamp illuminated by the lamp? Because it was not seen before the lamp, but was seen later. Is it said to be illuminated by the lamp? No, because the vase is produced simultaneously with the light. Because there was no valid cognition before. Therefore, the vase and the lamp are observed together, and they are not the objects of being illuminated and illuminating, just like blue and yellow. If it is said that the lamp is illuminated by the eye, that is not correct, the eye
