It is unreasonable to say that even if all things are related, they can be distinguished by certain characteristics. Or, if the light of the eye shining outwards is the cause of perceiving things, then even if oneself is related to all things, all things should appear in the same way. Therefore, one should be able to see things like gaps, colors, and intervals, but not just the state of being gathered together. Therefore, in order to explain that seeing trees through the difference of near and far, the appearance of clarity and unclearness, the body itself with the appearance of outward clarity, is a valid measure with the essence of clarity and unclearness. Therefore, it is said: 'Although it is without difference, this is different, from what is it made, that is the measure.' It means that although that which is in contact is without difference, this realization, constituted by the different states of clear and unclear essence, is itself a reasonable measure. 'If it appears from habit, then there is no place to stand there. ' It means that if even without the knowledge of form, it can be gathered together, and different things can be determined by difference, it is unreasonable, because habit does not establish it that way. If knowledge does not appear there, that is, without form, then, by habit, it is determined that in the determined place, it arises from seeing, and thus recalls the respective determined things, even if oneself becomes determined. If one sees things definitely, then it cannot be established without form, because if one does not see definitely, one will not create, and if one does not create, one will not be certain. 'If it is said that the agent and the action are one, then it is contradictory, this is not true, because it is admitted that the laws are different, and it is not admitted that things are different. ' It means that if the image of knowledge is a measure, and the cognition of things is a result, then, even so, the agent and the action will become one, which contradicts the fact, just as the axe itself is not cutting. This is not true, because it is admitted that the law without the difference of knowledge, the images, etc., are different, and the knowledge with the image is the opposite of the one without the image, and the essence of cognition is the opposite of the one without cognition, that is, the thing, is the characteristic of knowledge, is different.

also wants to believe. If there are no blue-like appearances, then blue will not be experienced. Because in the experience, there is also no blue-like appearance, therefore the nature of blue and knowledge are one. Are action and agent seen as differences in the thing itself? Like an axe and chopping? Answer: Action resides in the agent, all of which have divine aspects. For those who want to distinguish things, it is because they intervene through fabrication. That is, placing the action of chopping and the agent such as an axe in it, all such appearances are placed through different reasons and natures. For those who want to distinguish things such as axes, placing the appearance of action and agent is not the thing itself, but because it intervenes through the fabrication of concepts. For example, previously not seeing the tree being chopped, but seeing the blade of the axe and the placement of being chopped, thus inferring the difference in action. Through the power of recognition, knowing that the before and after are the same, this is not considered a valid cognition. Therefore, the previous tree is also other, and the axe and placement are also other. Because nothing other than action can be observed. This action itself is placed through concepts. Therefore, action and agent are distinguished and fabricated. Similarly, one should distinguish appearance and knowledge, because appearance does not pervade all knowledge, while class pervades all appearances. Because appearance is the knowledge that truly appears, it is different. In valid cognition, the result is only inseparable. As the teacher said, because it is understood through being combined with action, it is valid cognition, and reason itself is the result. Or, self-awareness is the result here, and the self-awareness of both knowledges is the result. Is it not reasonable for the result to be the knowledge of things? Because worldly people want and pursue things? Answer: It is not seen that worldly people themselves are pursuing things. Because when things are not seen, it is impossible to pursue things that are not seen. Even if not seen, will pursuing things occur upon hearing? No, because hearing is indirect.
