It does not do. Therefore, it should be understood that the teacher considers the direct perception to be free from conceptualization and without error. The measure of direct perception has been explained. What is the result of this measure? It is the understanding of the object to be measured. As it is said, the understanding of the object to be measured depends on the measure. Is not the knowledge of understanding itself the result? What is the measure? Some say that the special knowledge that arises from the union of the senses and the object, and that has the ability to produce an effect, is the measure. The proof of understanding is the measure, but are not the senses and so on the proof of understanding? How does that become a measure? To this, others say that, for the time being, knowledge arises from the senses and so on, and so does conceptualization. What does another proof do? Answer: By "action and proof," not everything is the proof of every action. Whatever action, whatever that is, is the proof of that. Because it is an action and a proof, not everything can be the proof of every action. If knowledge arises from the senses and so on, the very senses of seeing and so on are the proof of producing that knowledge, but not the proof of understanding. The arising of understanding the meaning is like a person recognizing things in the mirror of the mind, and not the senses experiencing their power. Answer: From that, it is only experience, and knowledge is of a similar nature. If the nature becomes like that, who can distinguish the various actions? If, among the senses and so on, the nature of knowledge is only a similar experience, then it is the proof of understanding. At that time, it also constantly conceptualizes everything and constantly knows everything, like the object desired by sentient beings. Because for that, all objects of knowledge and all times are of the same nature. Since there is also a determination of each object, the nature will become the nature determined by each object. By what does the nature distinguish the various actions? For example, this is blue, this is yellow, and so on. Or my knowledge

Although the nature is the same for all things, the act of hearing and so on becomes direct perception. Then, does direct perception show the object of perception definitively? It is said: Even if there are differences in causes, the nature of this does not change. There is no other to the difference in actions, it is not determined by the difference. It means that even if there are differences in causes, such as the senses, the nature of this is always undifferentiated, and it is not determined by the different actions such as blue. Why? Because it is not the nature of this. Even if there is a difference in self, can it become the author or make it understood? To this, the self does not become the author, because it is constant, and it will fall into becoming the aspect of things. If there is no aspect, then it will infer its own nature, but it is not a thing, because mere distinction is not uncommon for all things. However, if the self is determined by knowing, then, are the different senses not unknowing? How can it become a knower? Therefore, from which different self is this act of action called "this knowledge" determined? Its proof is that which is established. It means that because the difference that is not the self cannot be determined, from which self is this blue etc. called "this knowledge", and this action, that is, the action of knowledge, blue etc. is determined. The proof of the action of the nature of knowledge will establish that the nature is different. However, different knowledge direct perception is the proof of knowledge, the self is common to all things, and because it is constant, although it has not become an establisher, what can that which is similar to it do? It is said: Apart from the aspect of things, that which combines things and it, with the nature of other knowledge, is in no way a distinguisher. Therefore, the measurable is the proof of knowledge, the nature of the measurable, with other proofs, will not be related to it in action. It means that because wisdom and things are combined together, it is not knowing the aspect of things.
