Now, it is not intended to say that it is not so, because mind and mental factors are not other. Even if it is admitted that they are different, it is said: Some awareness and mind, etc., are obscured by the very clear Dharma, and other ideas, etc., sometimes do not experience any obstacles. Even so, the constant and mental factors, consciousness and feeling, etc., are seen as different at other times, so it is established to establish them as different. For example, the sun's rays overwhelm the starlight, so it is not the object of very clear knowledge. At night, the stars can appear brightly and be seen. Wisdom and mind are also not clearly manifested as different at some times, so they are not different. For yogis, it is also said in the scriptures that only the appearance of meaning without being mixed with conceptual thoughts is direct perception. Therefore, it is said: The yogis who were previously shown, they arise from that practice, all the nets of discrimination are removed, and they appear as bright. Among them, the samadhi and wisdom of yoga, whoever has the knowledge of it, those who focus on the bliss of the noble ones, they have been shown in the second chapter before. From what cause does knowledge arise? The answer is: It arises from practice, it has the cause of habituation, because it arises from the power of practice. The yogi's knowledge will appear bright, and the one that appears bright is also because the net of discrimination has been removed, because who is the one who has removed the collection of the net of discrimination. Non-discrimination is direct perception, because it arises from the power of meaning. Isn't it said that the meaning is the one who appears, the knowledge without discrimination? The past and the future become the determined objects, because they arise from the power of habituation. If there is no support, how does it become like this? For this, because it is shown that the consciousness arising from the power of habituation has a bright appearance. Greed and sorrow, fear and madness, thief dreams, etc. are confused, just as if they were dwelling in front, even the unreal will be seen. It is said greed and sorrow and fear

The madness caused by those ghosts is the illusion associated with them, such as thieves, dreams, etc., and any existing signs of death, etc. When signs of death appear, flesh-eating ghosts will clearly manifest at night, because the unreal world they have destroyed, such as beautiful women, etc., will also appear as if they are in front of you. In reality, even if it does not arise, consciousness will be in a non-discriminating state. The consciousness of dreams is not discriminating, because it grasps as if it is in front of you. If it is said that even if the consciousness of a yogi is discriminating, it will clearly manifest due to the power of habituation, that is not the case, because: Discrimination and subsequent connection, are not clear manifesters. For example, even in a dream, one remembers, but that is not such a meaning of remembrance. That is to say, discrimination is the nature of grasping the hidden, and the clear manifester is only the manifestation of what is near, therefore, discrimination with the nature of grasping the hidden should not be a clear manifester, because it is contradictory. Even if there is remembrance in a dream, it is attachment to experience, and it is not a clear manifester. Answer: That remembrance has such a meaning, that is, it does not have a clear meaning, just like the dream itself, the experience has a clear meaning. How do you know that the meaning of remembrance is not clear in a dream? Because the meaning of remembrance that exists in a dream will be remembered when you wake up, but it is not remembering the clear meaning that has such a meaning. If it is said that the clear manifester itself will also be remembered in a dream, then similarly, non-discrimination will also be remembered, but that is not the case. Therefore, it is unreasonable for discrimination to become a clear aspect from confusion or habituation. To this, the Vaibhashika objects: If things exist, shouldn't they clearly manifest due to the power of habituation? If one is freed from the darkness of ignorance due to the power of habituation, then the thing itself
