If it is said that suffering is not the cause, therefore it should not be abandoned, then attachment, etc., if there is no person, is also the cause of suffering, therefore those are also with self and other faults, if that is the case, attachment, etc., and I both have no faults, therefore it is impossible to be separated from those. If one cultivates suffering, it changes like an illusion grasping a limb, my mind is destroyed, therefore it is abandoned here, not reversed. The basis of the enjoyer of the senses, etc., is precisely holding on to me, what will reverse my mind? Then from where does it arise to be free from attachment? Regarding this question, isn't the cause of attachment the cause of happiness? From having the cause of suffering, one will become detached from attachment. Because there is no attachment to the harmer. Cultivating suffering can destroy attachment, etc., just like the limbs eaten by an illusion are abandoned, if you say so, the object of my mind, even if it is the cause of suffering, is not seen in the world to be abandoned. Therefore, just abandoning my mind will make me want it, If I have it, I will not be detached from attachment. Or, just without my mind, will I abandon the eyes, etc., therefore will I be detached from the senses such as the eyes? No, if you hold the eyes, etc., as the basis of enjoyment, what will reverse my mind? For example, may I obtain a god! May I obtain a Naga! In this way, one prays to become a special body. With what will the mind of prayer be detached from attachment to the body, etc.? It will not be detached. For example, From plucking hair, etc., from the body, a dirty mind will arise, just like attachment to others, this is obvious to everyone. Saying this, when hair, etc., become the object of enjoyment, then it will become the object of attachment, and it will generate my mind. When it falls from the body, when it is separated from the object of enjoyment, then only a dirty mind will arise. Also, intelligent people, etc., for it, their own minds agree, etc., will create a connection, similarly, that connection is

Even if viewed that way, it is not destroyed. It is said thus. The connection of gathering that is in accordance with happiness, etc., and having a body, and the gathering of having forms, etc., that rely on the body, and I who possess the ear faculty, from the connection of gathering in accordance, etc., the thought of 'mine' arises towards the body, etc. That connection of gathering in accordance, etc., even if faults are seen in that way, because it remains as it is, it becomes the destroyer of 'mine,' and therefore, from attachment, one transmigrates in samsara. However, one does not acknowledge the connection of having, etc., with the body, etc. Here, the answer is given: Even without gathering in accordance, etc., there is benefit for all. This means that everything that is seen as beneficial will turn into attachment. Therefore, I do not acknowledge the connection of my body, etc., with gathering in accordance, etc. Even so, because it is beneficial to all bodies, etc., it will not become devoid of desire. If one says that because it is a basis of suffering, it will not turn into one's own thought, like a finger. It is not entirely suffering, mostly like poisoned food. This means that, however, the body, etc., that benefits suffering will not turn into the thought of 'mine,' just as a finger bitten by a worm, because it produces suffering, does not have the thought of 'mine.' That is not true, because that body will not entirely turn into suffering. How it suffers, so it also becomes happiness, like poisoned food. Food with poison is not only suffering, but also brings happiness by being full. Similarly, the body of pigs, etc., although it is the nature of suffering, sometimes also becomes happiness. Therefore, the body, etc., is not an object to be abandoned. However, if one says that the body of pigs, etc., is suffering because it is mixed with suffering, then it is suffering. Then, because it sometimes possesses happiness, it will also become happiness. However, how food with poison sometimes becomes a cause of happiness, but mostly it is a cause of suffering, therefore it should be removed. Similarly, the body, etc., also becomes a cause of happiness, but mostly it produces suffering.
