Furthermore, not knowing the reversed object is ignorance. Because it is said, others are not reasonable. That being said, if the nature of non-clarity is ignorance, then the reversal of form, etc., is also ignorance, because what is more excellent than form, etc.? Therefore, Nirvana and the cessation attainment also become ignorance. If it is said that Nirvana is not the cause of afflictions, so it is not ignorance, that is not correct. Ignorance is not the nature of non-clarity, because the view of the aggregates is the cause of afflictions, so it is ignorance, because it contradicts wisdom. In any case, it has the characteristic of following other dharmas, but merely not having it is not non-dharma, and merely being other is not either, but what harms conformity and contradiction is non-dharma. Similarly, merely not clearly having the meaning of truth is not false, but showing non-existence is false speech. If that is the case, even if the thing itself exists, when one mistakenly thinks it does not exist, and therefore shows it as non-existent, then it is not true; if the thing itself does not exist, but one mistakenly thinks it exists, and therefore shows it as existing, does it not become false? That is not correct, because speaking is the object of conceptual thought, not showing external objects. Therefore, showing any thing as it is known is not false, but inverted speech is false. Similarly, anything else that contradicts wisdom is ignorance, because that itself is the cause of afflictions. How can emptiness, which becomes invisible, become the cause of anything? Ignorance is not completely non-existent, nor is it existent, but it appears as reversed and illusory, so do afflictions also appear as reversed and illusory? Therefore, there is no fault in this. Here it is said: Ignorance is not existent. Is this said to refer to non-clarity, or to reversed clinging? If it is the first case, then because no one would understand, beings would become blind. If the second case is taken, then

However, because it is ignorance that aims at the opposite. How can ignorance become a non-thing? Is it not an experience of having knowledge? If it is not so, if it is completely absent, then the view of Madhyamaka will be accepted. But if the object that appears from ignorance is non-existent because it is false? Then how can the appearance of the object not exist? If so, then if the object that appears in the inverted consciousness exists, how can it become ignorance? Understanding permanence, etc., does not appear as an object apart from consciousness, but whatever appears is all knowledge. There is no confusion in this, because Brahma would also become confused. Therefore, ignorance is the nature of consciousness, and because it is the cause of affliction, it is so named. How can knowledge be labeled as confusion, it depends on observation, not its own nature. Also, because it is a mental factor, it is the object, and ignorance is the object of inversion. Because the basis and the object, as well as the form and the thing, and the times are equal, it is said to be equal and possessed, because it is equal and possessed. And, the nature of knowing inversely from the image of wisdom is ignorance. As it is said in the sutra. Here, what is it that is free from ignorance? What is it that is free from imputation to the dharmas that have changed? Likewise, all the knowledge that is established by worldly people is transformed from the manifestation of self-attachment, because it is free from the manifestation of self-attachment, it is not. It is also said that the object of inversion is ignorance. Is the view of the aggregates not a part of ignorance? Ignorance also follows all afflictions and is of the nature of obscurity, how can it be said to be the view of the aggregates? Because it is not the common object of the word of difference. Likewise, if ignorance is the view itself, then ignorance is the same as and possessed of the view, then it will not become the meaning of having the same, because having is the cause of otherness. What is said here is, what contradiction is there?

Now, here is what needs to be said. Because of seeing emptiness and what contradicts it. Its very nature is in complete contradiction to all faults, and this is established. This means that having similarity is not examining the general and the particular as distinct, just as having flesh on a tree. In reality, it is only referred to as the essence of the tree. Similarly, the word 'particular' also shows its essence, with ignorance as the main aspect that serves as the basis for discussion. Therefore, there is no contradiction in saying 'ignorance with a view.' Because the view of self is ignorance, and all afflictions have it as their root. Therefore, seeing no-self contradicts grasping at self. Its very nature, that is, the afflictions caused by grasping at self, contradicts seeing emptiness, and this is established. Therefore, if delusion ceases, the entire cycle of existence ceases. Therefore, it is said to be the state of arising. If someone says that desire and so on are the nature of sentient beings, so they should not be exhausted, unlike form and so on, then the reply is: It is not established that they are not exhausted because they are the nature of sentient beings, like form and so on. It is not the case that only sentient beings exist, but rather it is shown that it is a continuous moment. Furthermore, if the antidote to desire and so on is related to meditating on ugliness and so on, then it is possible to see the abandonment of desire and so on, so it is not inexhaustible. These are the condensed explanations of cessation. If, like molten gold that becomes hard when hammered, even if the sight of no-self arises, will desire and so on arise again? The reply is: It does not arise like hardening, because the faults are contradictory to the path, its nature is irreversible and uncertain, so it is like ashes. This means that the faults that are contradictory to making the path manifest do not arise again like the hardness of gold, because the no-self
