If so, if the sign is determined by inference, then the inference will depend on other signs, and it will become endless. Furthermore, if in some places the form of fire is seen, and then burning and other functions are determined, although this is so, how will it be in other places? If it is said that seeing that function is due to the previous valid cognition, then wherever the function appears to be done before, it is established by valid cognition. Whatever does not arise without valid cognition is definitely able to perform the function. If it is said that wherever the function is done, that is valid cognition, is it not seen here that the function is not established as valid cognition? For those who have not been established as valid cognition, there is definitely no union with meaning, so how can the function be valid cognition? Although this is so, how can it be established that the measure is not deceptive, since there is definitely no function and no union? Therefore, it is not certain that the measure is determined by merely grasping the nature. Has it not been said that by extreme habituation, only by knowing the difference of form, it can be determined as non-deceptive? That is not knowledge, is that habituation realized by direct perception? Or does it enter into what is realized by inference? Among them, if it is known by inference, then if the difference of form is known by habituation, because the function is not deceptive, then the inference will also depend on each other because it does not arise without direct perception. However, if you see the form of fire that has become the object of direct perception, and the appearance of cooking and burning is also practiced, then when you see the form, you will experience the function immediately, so you are sure of it. Therefore, in other places, if there is no form function, it will not arise, how can it not be determined? The direct perception of the non-omniscient does not go and enjoy together in all places and times, and it is not a close indicator, therefore direct perception is not a certain non-deceptive, and inference is not a certain. If you think that you should be a valid cognition, here it says: Knowing from oneself by one's own nature, and from words is valid cognition. It means that the nature of self-direct perception is uncommon, and it is experienced by oneself.
