Then, how can this not be contradictory? Here it says: The sound, etc., which are caused by it, are the meaning of cause, self-reliance, and are not different from form, etc., because they have a place, so they are also a reliance. It means that the meaning of being caused by it is not the meaning of reliance. However, only the nature of the cause is called the sound of being caused by it, therefore, earth, water, fire, wind, and form are not the objects of reliance. Even if the object of reliance and the object of reliance exist at the same time, even so, because they exist without being different from their own object of reliance, just like form, etc., are born from the four great elements, if greed, etc., exist without being different from the four great elements, then at that time they become dependent on the four great elements. Because they do not exist without being different from the four great elements of the body like form, etc., so greed, etc., are not dependent on the body, because sometimes they do not arise. If it is like the power of intoxication, etc., it is different from things, power is not another meaning. The object of destruction and change is complete, and if it exists, the object of reliance will not be destroyed or changed. If you say it is the same, then it is not. Because earth, water, fire, wind, and mind are different, in order to understand the different phenomena that appear. It means that the intoxicating power that depends on alcohol and other substances exists differently, because the substance exists but also disappears, and will not be produced later. The word "etc." includes the power of poison, etc., to cause death. Like this, if substances such as sugarcane exist, the power will be revealed and will also disappear. Like the power of intoxication, etc., although greed, etc., are different from the object of reliance, however, if you say that greed, etc., depend on the body, that is not true, because the power has not become another meaning. Even if you do not admit that the power has become another meaning from substances such as sugarcane, just like imputation, things are like the power of things, what is the different distinction? For example, like the body of tears. Then, if fire, etc., do not have different powers, then what will mantras, etc., destroy at that time? For the time being, it is not fire, because other phenomena are seen. Even if the power is blocked, the fire is not blocked, so it should be different.

If that were the case, it would not be so, because the thing itself would perish there. If the support, such as fire, exists without being incomplete, then the power of the supported fire will not cease, because when the support perishes, it is known that the supported perishes. Otherwise, it would not be possible for the support and the supported to be things. If someone says that here too, the elements and the mind are not different, like the power of intoxication and so on. That is not correct, because the elements and the mind are different, and the mind is not non-different from the elements like power. How is that known? Because it is possible to understand the different appearances, and what establishes all differences is because of the different appearances, and there is no other cause of difference. If it is said that it is due to the objects of the different senses. If the appearances are not different, then it is the same, and what makes them different is the knowledge of different appearances, not because the continuum of knowledge is different. Are the appearances not different because the continuums of the eyes and so on are different? If that is the case, then it itself makes them different by the different appearances, so there is no other meaning. Here too, when the differences appear, the knowledge that knows the nature of inner happiness and so on is awareness, and what should be taken as the nature of mind and so on is object awareness. Is not the nature of the difference of inner touch happiness and so on? Therefore, it is the nature of self-awareness, that is, when something exists somewhere, it will now be experienced there, for example, trees and so on are known from far and near, and similarly, the nature of the difference of inner touch is also experienced inwardly because it exists in the inner body. If someone says that. Here is the answer: If this is the touch itself, then by what is the touch known? If it is known by another, then it is established that it is held as different. If the difference of touch and awareness are the same, then it is the nature of experience, because knowledge itself is self-awareness. If it is also the nature of self-knowledge, then why can't others know it in the same way? If it is said that it is because the seed is in the heart, so it cannot be known. Then it will be known by the inner touch, because the one who can touch the inner limbs can hold it. The outside
