Now let's translate again. Aren't things like tender sprouts, etc., gradually established in the womb of the body, with the objects of the eyes, etc., as the ultimate of accomplishment? There, the consciousness of the eyes, etc., also arises, so how can it be said that this comes from the senses of the other world? Here it says: Although the senses are harmed individually, there is no harm to the mind's intellect. If this is destroyed, then their destruction will also be seen. This means that the eyes, etc., which are caused by the consciousness of the mind, do their own work, and the consciousness of the mind does not depend on the senses. It comes from the mind itself of the other world, not from relying on the collection of elements. Each individual, that is, each eye, etc., is harmed, but that does not harm the mind's intellect, that is, there is no change. If the mind's intellect is destroyed by sorrow, etc., that is, if it changes, then the destruction of those eyes, etc., that is, decay or change, can be seen. The change caused by that change is the result itself, therefore the consciousness of the mind does not depend on the senses. However, it itself depends on it. If the eyes, etc., depend on the consciousness of the mind, then the consciousness of the mind becomes without dependence, isn't it admitted that the six consciousnesses are dependent? Here it says: Therefore, the support where wisdom dwells, wisdom also depends on some, is the cause of the senses, therefore the senses are due to wisdom. This means that the abode of the senses is the karma that causes them to arise, like this, the mind's intellect caused by good and non-virtuous karma exists at its own determined time. The cause of the senses, that is, the karma that causes them to arise, is the support where wisdom dwells. That karma is called karma, it is the support of the senses, that is, it depends on the previous wisdom. Just as the karma of the mind is done by the mind itself, this shows that karma is the support of the mind's intellect, and karma is also the previous mind's intellect. Therefore, beginningless karma is closely connected with the mind. Therefore, the senses arise from wisdom, not from the senses.

Yes. Although it transforms in this way, how does the mind, with its aspects of "I" and "mine," fully grasp the present birth from the aspect of consciousness, and how does it grasp the future birth? Here it is said: "If there is a projector, later it will also change in the same way." This means that if there is such a mind that has passed into the other world and is endowed with ignorance and craving, then is there a projector for the eyes and so on of this life? Or it may be that the mind's consciousness is projecting in the present moment. Similarly, at the time of death, there is also a projector that causes the senses and so on to go to the other world. In this way, the consciousness taught in the scriptures is capable of going to the next world. What was seen before, etc., is what is taught by the eyes and so on, which have the nature of moving, etc., and what is seen as the other world. Isn't it also said in the scriptures that consciousness depends on the body? How does this not contradict that? Here it is said: "Because that consciousness benefits, it is said that the mind depends on the body." This means that that consciousness is the consciousness of the body, which arises from the eyes and so on. Because it benefits, that is, because it benefits, the Blessed One said that the mind depends on the body. But in the ultimate sense, the mind does not depend on the body. Therefore, the mind-consciousness, by its nature of grasping at "I," does not abide depending on the senses and the body. Furthermore, why is it not admitted that the mind that grasps at "I" and "mine" ultimately depends on the body? Isn't it because the mind is not seen on a wall separate from the body? That is not true; it is not merely because it is not seen that it becomes the result, but because it follows existence and non-existence. That is, it is seen that the body depends on the mind-consciousness. For example, when sorrow and other mental states change, the body becomes emaciated. If the mind is happy, the body becomes plump, strong and big. Or, how can there be no mind without the senses? Without that, those also [cannot exist]. Thus, they are mutually the cause. Therefore, they are mutually causal.
