If the Bhagavan is said to be omniscient because it is not necessary, then does the Veda also become a valid means of cognition because there are twelve months in a year without fail? Here it is said: The suchness of what should be taken and abandoned, who knows with means, that is the valid means of cognition, not the one who knows everything. That is to say, the Bhagavan is not a valid means of cognition because he knows one aspect that is not necessary. However, the suchness of what should be taken and abandoned is suffering and cessation, and the means to that are, in order, the origin and the path. Whoever knows these is considered a valid means of cognition, but not the one who knows the number of all insects and so on. This, like manifesting the noble truths, shows that the Bhagavan is the valid means of cognition for the path to higher realms. Is it impossible to know everything, or is it considered a valid means of cognition to fully know the main meaning because it is not necessary? Said: Whether seeing far or not seeing, it is seeing the suchness of desire. If seeing far is a valid means of cognition, come, rely on the vulture. That is to say, it is not that there is no omniscience, but it does not help the valid means of cognition. Thus, whether seeing far or not seeing everything is fine, because seeing the suchness of desire, that is, the four noble truths, it is a valid means of cognition. If seeing far is a valid means of cognition, then when you do not understand the meaning of the present situation, have your friends left at that time? Come, you who desire liberation and seek higher realms, please rely on the far-sighted vulture! The meaning of this is that it is not a complete abandonment of omniscience, but because of the lack of means, we cannot enter the path of complete knowledge. Whoever wants to become a valid means of cognition should directly perceive all knowable things, otherwise it is impossible to fully possess meaning. If there is a reason for knowing the main meaning and the valid means of cognition of omniscience itself, then the proof is mentioned as "great compassion", and the compassion that wants to free others from suffering is also the ultimate, which is the basis for establishing omniscience. If the method is not known, compassion is the cause of suffering.
