It is dwelling and entering. Similarly, whatever possesses a difference in shape is all done by the agent, such as a vase and so on. The body and senses, etc., also possess a difference in shape. Similarly, whatever performs a function is all done by the agent, such as an axe and so on. The body, eyes, and earth, etc., are also for the sake of performing a function. The word "etc." closely grasps the meaning of being done. Whatever is a result is all produced from a cause possessing intelligence, such as branches and so on. If it is said that mountains, etc., are also results, then it is said here: On dwelling, entering, the difference in shape, and performing a function, etc., it is either the desired establishment, or the example is not established, or there is hesitation. Here, the reason for dwelling and entering, etc., is generally not established as preceding as the cause for those possessing intelligence. If it is examined as the distinction of being blessed by an excellent mind, then, if the general establishment is like that, then it is not the subject, because the subject is desired to be unestablished. Generally, merely the mind preceding is established. It is also said thus: "From actions are born the various worlds, actions are mind and what is made by it, mind is the action of the mind." Thus it is said. However, the mind itself precedes various actions. For the meaning of entering and returning of actions, the Isvara should be acknowledged. It is also said thus: "That is taught the Dharma from being urged by Isvara." Therefore, the action done by the agent preceding is not an establishment for what is already established, if it is said because the action done by Isvara is acknowledged, then that is not so, because action itself is the nature of mind. It is the very entering into various things. Whatever is a result without mind, that is not itself produced and entered, because it is not entered after examining that this is this. Like this, if it is entered after examining oneself, it is entered after being urged by the examiner, then, without mind, it is not entered by itself. To this, if action is the very essence of mind, then what need is there for others to examine it? Otherwise, how could action be the nature of mind?

However, just as the actions are driven by Ishvara (Tibetan: དབང་ཕྱུག་), why not acknowledge that the potter's actions are also a result of being driven by Ishvara? If it is because of the blessings of Ishvara that one acts, then Ishvara would also be blessed by another Ishvara. However, Ishvara acts because he fully understands himself, while the potter does not understand himself. Because he does not have the power to discern for himself, he is driven by Ishvara to act. Therefore, it is said: The ignorant have no autonomy, They themselves will become suffering, Driven by Ishvara, They go to heavens and to evil destinies. This is not true, because it is impossible to fully understand everything. If one desires to fully understand the result from the cause, then it will become mutually dependent, because in proving the all-knowing one, action is needed, and also from the action itself, the all-knowing one is proven. Furthermore, if the result arises from actions driven by Ishvara, then the nature of Dharma (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཉིད་) would be harmed, but how would non-Dharma harm? By giving benefit to those born in samsara, one would benefit others. If Ishvara is without attachment and possesses action, then how would he give harm and no benefit of non-Dharma to worldly beings? If non-Dharma is not driven by worldly karma and does not produce suffering, then samsara would not originate from Ishvara. If it is said that it is impossible for the result to arise solely from karma without the will of Ishvara, then this is also a wrong understanding. Therefore, for things that need to be universally proven, the will is established. If one wants to prove that the one with excellent wisdom is prior, then at that time it will become an example, because the author of the all-knowing one is prior, and is not followed anywhere. It is not the case that merely by words, the author is shown to be prior in the object of desire as something that needs to be proven, because there is no reason for misunderstanding to arise for this. Now, the faults of reasoning will be explained, or rather, it is being hesitant.
