Even if one completely loses one's own essence, how can there be essence? Because it is related to self-nature, the characteristic of non-existence without it is without error. Thus, after showing the contradiction of the reason of self-nature, the reason of the result is also stated, and it should be connected by saying: the cause will reverse the effect. Here, too, there are two aspects as before. To show how the cause is reversed, it is said, "Because there is no error." Non-arising without a cause is because the very nature of the effect is the nature of merely following and reversing. The cause also reverses the effect by the reversal itself, so it is determined by the cause itself. Existence itself is not reversed, because it is not the cause itself. The phrase "when the cause is reversed" is an explanation of the previous part. Otherwise, it is the latter part. Thus, when the aspects desired by other parties are refuted, if there is a self-nature relationship, then in reality there is no error between things, and this is established, which is shown with remainder, namely, "the establishment of the cause and effect of things is" and so on. The word "ni" means جمع. Therefore, the meaning is: the establishment of the nature of cause and effect is also the nature itself, determining, that is, without it, it will not arise. Therefore, in "the establishment of its nature is" and so on, it is also the same understanding. Therefore, because of the aspect of being related to only that much and so on, only the self-nature relationship is reversed. If you do not admit this, then the statement "if there is nothing to be proven, there is nothing to prove" will not be established. If it is not so, it is so. If you do not admit the self-nature relationship, then if one thing to be proven is reversed, how will the other thing to be proven be reversed? If it is reversed, then at that time, if the Brahmin's son loses his horse, he will also lose his livestock, because if the horse is in hand, then there is no difference from others, so the livestock will also be reversed. Because it is desired to be reversed when the unrelated is reversed, it is shown by asking the question, namely, "a person does not have a horse" and so on.

Thus, showing that there is no reversal when there is no connection, and stating that there is also no following, is called 'suchness'. It is not certain that one is near, so the other is near. Otherwise, if a horse is near, then a cow will also be near. It is also not certain that if one or more entities are in a certain state, others will also be in the same state. Therefore, 'therefore' is a concluding word. Only the nature of the relationship makes the object to be proven by reason understandable. It will depend on the reason for understanding it. The very act of making understandable is from the nature of following and reversing. Those also, whatever is the nature of depending on what, it will become that on that. Therefore, the nature of the relationship itself makes it understandable. That is also of two kinds, either the characteristic of its essence or the characteristic arising from it. If only by the power of its own nature and what arises from it, the object to be proven by reason is made understandable, then what is the need for an example now? The teacher has also shown in the Compendium of Valid Cognition and so on, showing it by himself in those and those. There is no approximation in any way. For the time being, in the case of the reason of nature, the realization of what is to be proven is accomplished by analyzing the nature of the reason. In that way, it will also enter into things like being made. Shapa and so on are also because Shapa is a distinction of the tree, so the tree itself is realized. Because it is like that everywhere, the nature of the relationship itself is the nature of following, and whatever is in the same direction without interruption, the understanding of the meaning is also throwing. The nature of reversal, which is absent in the opposite direction, is also the same. By what follows, the subject of proof is closely associated with what is seen, and becomes an example of having the same property, and the reversal, associated with what is seen in the subject of proof, becomes an example of having different properties. Because those two are established as having the nature of the object of the subject of proof. Those two are understood by showing what is to be proven, and the subject of proof that is understood is remembered at the time of understanding what is to be proven.
