In order to prove that a substance is transformed into another place, because the quality itself depends on the qualified, the support of the tactile sensation that is neither cold nor warm, from the earth and so on, is transformed into another that depends on the wind, in order to prove this, by preventing the visible and invisible earth and so on from being the support itself, because they are invisible, it is said that they do not exist. To this, the teacher's tactile sensation for the visible things such as earth, even if invisible, will become invisible. Or, if it is said that just because they are invisible, they are not visible, to this, the teacher just because they are invisible, cancels the prevention of the invisible things. This is unreasonable for saying that the opposite of the invisible is to be proved. When the opposite of the invisible is established, why can't the tactile sensation that is neither cold nor warm on the earth and so on be prevented? Therefore, the teacher said that it is unreasonable to prevent just because it is invisible. If it is said that it is unreasonable to prevent the Dharma for the non-appearing Dharma, then, for the opposite, not all Dharmas appear, because the opposite cannot be established just because it does not exist on some things. Thus, up to this point, the teacher's statement that the invisible does not match the visible is also proved to be not contradictory. Now, for the teacher's intention, in order to concretize it, what shows the refutation of other people's views is the tactile sensation. The tactile sensation that is neither cold nor warm is the characteristic of being the object of perception, therefore, it is prevented by the invisible, not just by the visible, then, how can it be unreasonable? How can it be unreasonable? It is not unreasonable, because just the appearance and the nature of appearance, the appearance and the similar object, cannot prevent the tactile sensation. This is said like this: just this object that is grasped by the visible is not the prevention. Doing so will become dependent on the non-appearing Dharma. Therefore, for the tactile sensation that appears on the vase and so on, it is not the prevention, and for the object that is similar to the appearance, it is also not the prevention. Preventing the nature of becoming visible means that there is no tactile sensation that is neither cold nor warm here, nor is there anything similar to this.

Furthermore, it is said that it does not exist. This is of the same kind as that, and it is also transformed by the very nature of such a Dharma, so it is said that even what is of the same kind as this does not exist. Therefore, for what appears in that way, it is transformed only by the non-observation of appearance; for its kind, it is only because it is of the same kind as that. Like this, it is of the same kind as that by emptiness, but not by other dharmas. For those who are similar in kind in emptiness, only the negation of touch that is neither cold nor warm is established. Others do not negate in that way, but they grasp the general aspect of earth and so on, abandon the observable and the similar forms, and thus negate all earth and so on. For this, it cannot be determined that all earth and so on are not appearances, and that everything will become of the same kind as what is seen. Its kind is like that, it will be said. For the unseen, there is no certainty that this or everything is its kind. If, like the nature of blue being different from yellow, even if unseen, it is impossible to exist elsewhere, then why is it not reasonable to negate that all earth and so on will be different from the touch that is neither cold nor warm? It cannot be done that way, because for what appears, it is established by seeing that it is different from the nature of blue and yellow. For what does not appear, it is not transformed in that way by relying on seeing, because that is not its object, and the valid knowers are empty of the ability to act by relying on non-objects. Therefore, for the unseen, it is acknowledged in that way from the root of reason. Because what is called blue is of the same kind as the seen blue, it is different from yellow, therefore it is different from it. However, if the kind is the same but not a different entity, then how can it be different just because it is named that way? Similarly, other earth, if it is of the same kind as it, then it is established there. However, if the kind is not the same, then it is not like that.
