This is not to show whether it has its own result or not. Therefore, at that time, it is to show that it is established by valid cognition itself. Therefore, stating dissimilar dharmas is primarily to show valid cognition. Even if valid cognition does not exist at that time, it is meaningless to speak because there is no ability to trust. Therefore, do not think that it does not even exist with words. This itself is explained by the *Vibhajyavyākhyāna* as "if." This shows that there is no trust in the invisible. Similarly, stating dissimilar dharmas is also, that is, "through stating." That is also to state the invisible. If the thing to be proven pervades the reason, then is it that there is no pervaded thing without a pervader? These things to be proven and the things that can prove are not understood at the very time when the thing that can prove is understood, but are understood at the time of grasping the pervasion. The pervasion is understood through the repeated entry of the visible, the invisible, and the invisible. Therefore, the difference of the nature of these certainties, which is understood at the time of grasping the pervasion, is close to proving as the support of the recollection of words at the time when the thing to be proven is understood, so even if there is the invisible at the time when the thing to be proven is understood, it is not a limb there. If there is no thing to be proven there, then the difference of the characteristic of not having a thing that can prove is understood by stating similar dharmas, and in order to welcome this doubt of "this is reasonable," it is said: Through one thing to be proven being invisible, it is not proven that another thing does not exist, because that would be too much. Because there is no difference in the other thing itself, even if the pot falls over, the cloth will fall over. If the thing to be proven and the thing that can prove are not related, then from where, through the power of the thing itself, if one exists, the other exists, the pervasion and the thing that pervades will not be established. If it is thought that even if there is no relation, because one does not exist, the other does not exist, then that would be too much. Words are abandoning the statement of the invisible itself, and taking the nature of words themselves as a limb.

Saying "it is not" is the same as saying "it does not exist." It is not the mere nature of words that makes one understand non-existence through words, but rather through the very act of revealing a previously existing measure. Therefore, how can stating dissimilar dharmas not abandon the uncertain? It is not merely by the nature of words. If the other does not exist, it is not merely by making one understand that the other does not exist. It is not merely by revealing a previously existing measure, for the sentient being exists even at that time, merely because it is unseen. Therefore, for that which has no need to be established, the establisher is contradictory, because wanting non-existence, merely not seeing abandons establishment. By what reasoning should one state the reason that the one who realizes will understand as being called contradictory? In order to show other faults, even if it has already been abandoned, the disputant says "for the non-existent." For that which has no need to be established, the establisher does not appear, so for that which needs to be established, is the contradiction established by the characteristic of non-existence? To refute this, it is said, "if." If, for that which has no need to be established, because the reason is not seen, it contradicts from that which has no need to be established, then how is the inference with remainder deceptive? Because in that, in the dissimilar aspect, there is non-seeing. The teacher also said it is deceptive. Therefore, all reasons will be stated as deceptive in the same way. What is that with remainder? To explain its nature and essence, it is "for example." These fruits are the subject, ripe or flavorful, is this because the thing to be established, the shape is not different? Arising from one, the reason called "because" is like eating, this is the simile. Now, how is this non-seeing in the dissimilar aspect explained? For this with remainder, for that which has no need to be established, there is the non-appearance of the reason, therefore how is it deceptive? Deceptive is the uncertain contradiction, merely the non-appearance that makes the contradiction certain exists, therefore it will be deceptive. The very arising from that branch is that taste is not
