Because by eliminating the contradiction, the very nature of being made is not always followed by permanence. Therefore, he teaches to make known that the following is certain, so it is said that it is not to make the very nature of being made a proof of permanence. If there is doubt about following, is it not that the contradiction is not the real reason? Therefore, contradiction is not something that must be abandoned by stating certainty, because the very nature of being made is necessarily pervaded by negation. If there is no doubt about this impermanence, then when it exists in permanence or impermanence, it will also become permanence. Therefore, if the certainty of following is the reason, then doubting that the nature of being made is permanent becomes not a real reason. When it can be negated, then there will be no doubt that it is permanent. Therefore, even if doubt is the reason, contradiction is not the reason. Therefore, how can this be clarified by stating certainty? If it is said that because there is no following in contradiction, it is eliminated by certain following, then stating certainty there is also meaningless, because even doubt does not have following, so merely stating following has already established clarification. Because many statements are seen to be pervaded by negation, it is only that it cannot be determined, therefore, the nature of being made is also uncertain for impermanence. Therefore, if doubt is the reason, then this will only become the reason. In this way, it is reasonable to necessarily state negation. What is in accordance with the contradictory side is the uncertain following, because negating following is uncertain, is it not the contradiction itself? Because it must be eliminated by uncertain following, it is said to be in accordance with the contradictory side. By certain negation, the uncertain entry into the incompatible side is eliminated, because it must be certainly eliminated so that it does not enter the incompatible side. Therefore, in this way, only the certainty of entering both is eliminated, not the uncommon. It also abandons the remainder and having, etc., which are in accordance with that side, because only by certain negation is it refuted, it is in accordance with that side, and it also doubts entering the incompatible side.

Because it possesses the remainder. Also, in both, by saying "completely established," it is to eliminate the non-establishment in any one, saying thus is "in both." Like this, in following and returning, by definitely stating what is to be clarified, after explaining, it also speaks of what is to be eliminated by saying "completely established." Saying "completely established" is to eliminate those who hesitate. What are those? It is what is said, "possessing remainder" and "non-common." On what does one hesitate? It is indicated by "on the similar aspect and the dissimilar aspect." Possessing remainder is hesitating on the dissimilar aspect, and non-common, such as what is heard itself, etc., is on both the similar aspect and the dissimilar aspect. Or, both also, one does not hesitate on both, because residing in the house itself is also hesitating on the similar aspect. That is, on some seen dharmas, on the similar aspect as seen, on the dissimilar aspect it is also unseen itself. How is that not doing it definitely? Just like what is seen on the similar aspect also. Just like on the non-common, on the dissimilar aspect there is also unseen. Therefore, on both, it is also possible on both. Therefore, the definite statement of having the fruit of elimination as said, is the realization that the fruit of understanding the connection itself is understanding. In order to establish that the teacher promises the connection, another understanding is also spoken, which is "it is not like that." In indicating the connection, what is said is a definite statement, if it is not like that, it is that word of saying "if it is not like that." At that time, even without connection, merely unseen would become established return. That is what is said, "even without connection." Even so, what fault is there? That is what is said, "for the deluded." If it is merely the return of unseen, then by saying "what is this," grasping the dissimilar dharma, if, by saying "if," one should understand its necessity, then, what is indicated by "that," even if not said, can be understood, with the final language of eliminating doubt.
