The explanation is that this is not something else. Because without distinction, it will not arise. If the three aspects of reason are not expressed by the properties of the subject, concomitance, and counter-concomitance, then these three aspects should also be established by valid cognition, because what is to be measured depends on valid cognition. The aspects of reason will ultimately and undoubtedly become direct perception, otherwise it would lead to infinite regress. Therefore, the pervasion of the nature of words is realized by direct perception itself, so how could it not be a reason? Likewise, if there is meaning in the word itself, then desire is directed towards the mind without desire, and if there is no desire, there is no word. If it is said that this leads to extreme consequences, then how could it not also lead to extreme consequences in inferring fire from smoke, since the properties of the kitchen could also appear on the mountain? Therefore, either inference is not valid cognition, or it is difficult to avoid the speaker being a desirous person. Therefore, refuting this doubt, even though pervasion is established by direct perception, it is said that it is not a reason, saying that even if it is not seen in the dissimilar class, it is not. If it is said again that this is not seen to occur in the dissimilar class, then since words are merely the cause of wanting to express, abandoning it and relying on the counter-concomitance established by non-seeing, it is not possible to infer the distinction of wanting to express. Why is it not possible? Because the absence of reason in the dissimilar class is counter-concomitance, and this is established by the valid cognition of the nature of non-seeing. If this is said, then "all-seeing" is mentioned. This is what is said: if the absence in the dissimilar class is understood by non-seeing, then who would abandon that which is a reason even if it is not seen? This is not the case, because in some things there is nothing to be proven, then all of these are dissimilar classes, and it is unreasonable that some things are certain to have the nature of its absence. For this, it must also be understood that it does not exist in all things, but not only in some things. If all things associated with what is not to be proven are not dissimilar classes,

If it is not necessary to determine that there is no reason in it, then, even if it is proven that there is none in some cases, there will be doubt that there is none in all cases, therefore, just like things that have not been experienced before that are limited by location, etc., for things that have not seen the existence or non-existence of what needs to be proven, and things that have been experienced, if there is none, then it will definitely be doubted that there is no reason. Therefore, if there is doubt about the existence or non-existence of fire, and smoke is seen on the thing that needs to be proven itself, then who would say "even if there is no fire here, there is, or it is only if there is"? Can seeing and not seeing in similar and dissimilar aspects determine the thing that needs to be proven that causes doubt about the thing that needs to be proven? How to determine? Because if the thing that needs to be proven does not exist, it is impossible to determine that the thing that needs to be proven itself will also not exist. For other things, if it is thought that if this thing that needs to be proven does not exist, then there is none, then by what valid cognition can it be thought that other things are also like that? Because valid cognitions are for specific objects. Valid cognition arises in what thing, and it is determined in that thing. If after valid cognition arises, it is thought that other things are also like that, that is unreasonable. It is impossible to determine how smoke or things are in one place, and how they are in other places. Because the difference in the nature of what exists in it has not been determined. Therefore, if it is determined that there is no thing that needs to be proven in all cases, then fire can be determined by not seeing smoke. Therefore, in some cases where there is no thing that needs to be proven, that is completely the dissimilar side, and it must also be determined that there is none there. It is not because of the wrong view of not being omniscient that one can understand that all dissimilar sides have none, but only the omniscient one can understand. Through direct perception, it is impossible to turn things limited by location and time into the object of action of understanding the emptiness of what needs to be proven. Therefore, how to determine that these things have many reasons? In order to explain "just like there is in one place, this thing is not necessarily in all places", so it is said "in some places". Therefore, things seen through some nature are also limited by location, etc.
