The third is called "is." For example, like the word "here," places like the great lake are indicated by the previous ones. The fourth is called "self-nature unestablished," which is because self-nature is invisible, for example, like "there is no smoke here, because it is invisible." Other connections included in this are also indicated by "by this." This is the self-nature related to difference. For example, like "there is no sal tree here," this is to prove that there is no pervasiveness, because by holding on to the difference by relying on nearness, etc., it is not obvious. Saying "because there is no tree" is to prove that there is no pervasiveness, because the nature of having leaves, etc., can be recognized even from a distance, and if it cannot be recognized, it will be understood as not existing. Therefore, if there is a tree in this place, it will be seen, but if it is thought that this is not a difference, and one wants to negate the difference, then only through the absence of the general can it be understood as not existing from the invisible pervasiveness. If it is not possible to establish that there is no absence elsewhere, then shouldn't only the different connections arising from the invisible appearance be shown here? For the connections shown as before, how can invisible appearance exist? Because there are invisible causes such as obstacles and kalpas. For things that cannot be seen, invisible appearance does not exist. Even in the invisible appearance itself, it is still unestablished, because the obstacle has not established the difference. If someone asks, then it is said, "Because of abandoning this, it is called 'non-existence' and 'name'." The connections included in it, as well as non-existence, non-existence, and the name of non-existence, that is, non-existence and name, in order to prove this, all these invisible ones should also be understood as unestablished invisible ones. Here, for things that are established and unestablished, because they are mutually inclusive, the unestablished is inclusive in relation to the established, and the established is also inclusive in relation to the unestablished. What are those? It is said, "those." Those are the things to be negated by all kinds of invisible ways or all of them. If even with obstacles, etc., coldness, etc., are not apparent, then it should also be understood as appearance itself. Therefore, it should also be understood as established. Reason.

That which is unestablished is not that which must necessarily be established. Those very reasons, showing in the place of establishment, are called those that contradict them. Here, whatever states the reason of the nature of non-apprehension of appearance, such as contradiction to that, those are not unestablished because they are established as non-apprehension of appearance itself. If here, there is no pervader, etc., which is not contradictory, even so, the word 'contradictory' is used as in 'carrying earth and walking', because it is reasonable to approximate everything from the beginning. Or else, the absence of a pervader, etc., is itself contradictory to what should be pervaded, etc., because they cannot exist simultaneously. Even though contradiction is not perceived because the thesis is not understood, it is not impossible to clearly state what contradicts. From where will the reason become established? If it is said that only these observable entities are unestablished, then it is said, 'for others'. For the unobservable, as has been said, non-existence and contradiction will not be established. Non-existence is shown as a part of establishing contradiction. Its meaning is this: if the object exists at that time, even in that era, if it is said that it is not perceived here, it is because there is another incompatible opposite object, and that is contradiction itself. That is only established as non-apprehension of appearance by the mutual opposition of observable objects; if it is not so, it would follow that contradiction is not established. Because the unwanted is clarified, 'if' is said in order to include other statements. Just as the result of contradiction is contradiction itself, so too is the cause of contradiction. If it were not so, in establishing contradiction, it would be thought that just as a cause arises from a result, so too a result would be established from a cause, and thus it would be inferred that cold exists. To eliminate this dispute, 'that sutra' is said. What contradicts the touch of cold is fire, and the reason for that is wood, etc., which are the combinations that make it visible. What is related to 'contradiction and result' etc. is 'meaningless'. That non-existence is itself what contradicts it. That is delusive.
