Then, if it is with a pot, the opposite of its essence will not exist. Similarly, just as having only a part with a pot is different from others, so it is also not with a pot, because only a part does not have it, because both are different. Therefore, when understanding things, both are distinguished as different. When something contrary to its nature exists in another way, the opposite of its nature and the nature have no other. If understanding the nature of something that does not exist is complete exclusion, then establishing it in another way is distinction. There, things with other natures can also be understood by their own measure, but understanding things that do not exist does not depend on their own measure. If one does not understand things that do not exist, then how is this understanding? This has already been explained. Because both can be understood from the opposite of what is seen. The distinction grasped by one's own measure can do nothing. Because it will become understanding itself. When understanding the absence of succession and destruction, there is indeed an understanding of things that do not exist, however, since it is not the ultimate of what can be measured, it is not a measure. Since names do not arise without existence, it is shown that names must be proven. Here, when understanding one self-nature, the manifestation itself is the measure for distinguishing that it is the self-nature of others. Precisely because of this, if distinguishing others can be established merely by completely excluding one, since there is no difference, it will be established that all things other than that are excluded, but it is not merely the nature that is similar to it. Arguments such as "distinction should not be spoken" are put forward, because through the knowledge that definitely manifests its self-nature, from the complete exclusion of one's self-nature, it will be distinguished that it is its self-nature, therefore, in order to prove that both distinction and complete exclusion are accomplished by one measure, therefore, by observing in this way, it will be distinguished that it is a self-nature different from it, this is the concluding difficulty. Starting from "it is not that all other things are blocked in its realm and time," therefore, in some place, some

Some refutations arise from non-apprehension in the manner described earlier, thus, for an object that is not its own nature, the function of non-apprehension of non-appearance is explained. Therefore, things are understood through experiencing certainty in the nature of one. When others doubt whether the nature of what can be seen or cannot be seen is the nature of many, one does not become many, and it is prevented by experiencing the nature of one itself. Therefore, when preventing what is permissible in this way, what can be seen itself is not a limb, how can what cannot be seen not be prevented because of what cannot be seen itself? If it is said that for what can be seen, because there is no nature of what cannot be seen, it is prevented after admitting what can be seen, this is like recognizing the stars after shaving the hair. If some are confused about this, thinking that a contradiction can prevent the nature of what cannot be seen by the object of what can be seen, so there is no contradiction. That is because when knowledge doubts other natures, it also changes. Similarly, even if the target is a place, if there is no doubt about the absence of a vase, then the manifestation itself will become the name of its absence. If it is not so, knowledge will not confuse others either. Therefore, in order to prove that things do not exist, it is necessary to place things in other natures, and the meaning of preventing by the target, done in the manner described earlier, is also the nature of the name of the ultimate object. If it is merely the nature of arising knowledge, because it does not correspond to the object, even if it is not the ultimate of others, it will undoubtedly become like that. Therefore, when the target is other, non-apprehension is established by manifestation, and when other exists, non-existence is also established by manifestation. In this way, in order to show that the ultimate of cognition itself is the function of non-apprehension, eliminating the dependence on proving the non-existence of things, it is said "when". Here, when both are negated as two, because manifestation itself will name, non-apprehension is meaningless. Similarly, things
