O. If it has already been said that "abiding in conceptualization," then what is the use of the phrase "also following one's own realization"? Any statement that follows the conceptualizations of oneself and others, and thus causes abiding in the discriminating consciousness, is stated as follows: Just as these appear as conceptualizations of one's own nature, this is merely a repetition of what was said earlier. Those trees, because they follow due to being cognized as one, are therefore the cause of such conceptualization only by their own nature; they are the cause of such conceptualization by their own essence. That is also because it appears to follow, so it appears as one. Now, to show how it appears as the conceptualization of oneself and others, it says, "By its seeing." Whoever sees those trees, those trees abide in the wisdom of his conceptualization, therefore it is because they are the body of oneself and others. Those trees, whether they are the nature of the external or of knowledge, are not distinguished, because they do not recognize the difference between inside and outside. How is that? Although it is not so, it is also said, "Although not external, but clinging to the external." The reason for this is also explained: "The cause of consciousness, and separation from that other." This is what is said: Because it is only through experiencing that habit is generated, therefore it appears, and the wisdom with the fruit of opposing those very things enters, therefore, even though it is a universal appearance, the difference between the inner and outer self is obscured. To show how to combine those appearances, the conjunction "then" is used to cognize them as they are, so it explains that "the wisdom that understands from that" is "the wisdom that understands from that." That is because it appears as one thing due to the power of delusion, but in reality it is not a thing, to show what was said as such, it says, "Although one sees difference in that." The so-called difference of things refers to the manifestation that is different from what is seen. Any commonality of what is seen and unseen is the tree itself, and what is unseen is not the tree.

It is to distinguish what is not a tree. If not, what is it? It has been said, "That is," and so on. If the distinction is not seen, then saying "it is not possible to approximate the distinction between trees and non-trees," even if it is not understood as different from others, is so. Even if in general there is no difference, and it becomes clear through it and what is related to it, but if it is said that "it will also become the only clarity," then it is said that "whatever sees the same cannot be observed from other aspects." "Those related to this and not this" refers to those related to form and non-form. In order to show more clearly the argument spoken by others on the side of excluding others, it is "vase," and so on. Since the vase and non-vase contradict each other, the sound of the vase shows its own meaning by distinguishing the non-vase. If it is possible to have the meaning of distinction, then it is not possible for words such as "knowable" and "measurable" to express distinction. By what can it be expressed in such a way? The statement "knowable that is the opposite of unknowable" is unreasonable, because it is impossible for the knowable of the omniscient itself to exist as unknowable. Even if by what pervades all things, but since it is impossible for existence to arise from non-existence, therefore, like existence, the "knowable" expressed by distinction is not the nature of things, but merely the nature of the object of knowledge that is conventionally established. Therefore, if "that is" is possible, and the knowable is also different from it, then if it takes something different from it as an object, then since it obtains the self-nature of the object of cognition, it will not be different from it. It was said, "Taking something different from it as the object itself." In order to refute this, it was said, "That has no fault." Why? Because here, the mind completely reverses from certain things, and in order to enter certain things, the sound is completely combined. And how does it enter certain things? In order to determine the meaning of what is said. By the power of the symbol, the sound becomes that meaning, that sound.
