It is said that it has the ability because this knowledge arises from it. If the knowledge of the appearance of variegation is not established as non-appearance, but only as not appearing as different, then after welcoming this doubt, it is shown that although it appears, it has no ability, which is called "hair, etc." The deterioration of hair, etc. is appearance, but they do not exist, so they have no ability. Therefore, it is unreasonable to say that the bright things that appear in consciousness have the ability. Recognition is the only illusion, which arises from things, and this must be admitted by others, because they also admit that general knowledge has special objects. If it is established that things are unique, then the bright things should be the objects of unique knowledge, and it is unreasonable to refute others, which is the answer. In order to universally understand the general through its power, in order to show how recognition itself arises, in order to provoke controversy, this is called "If the appearance is non-different consciousness." Even if it is allowed that bright things produce a knowledge result, however, for this unique nature, how does this knowledge appear, just as it does not have its own characteristics, then if it is an object, how does this consciousness appear as non-different? This is if you want to think so. Explaining this is called "many," meaning that we do not have inverted knowledge now. Having spoken of the object of controversy, that is, "Then what?" The so-called "having their establishment" is a different establishment, and if it is not so, the object itself cannot exist. Therefore, how does it appear as non-different? Therefore, even if this knowledge arises from bright things, if the nature of the object is analyzed, it will become a general object. To this, temporarily understanding that the form of consciousness is different, this is only analyzing or fabricating one's own nature, in order to show that relying on the way of establishment, the argument is not established, which is called "For those who hold the general." Because for things that are actually different, there is no consciousness that appears as non-different, so this should not be argued.
