The concluding part. The so-called "slightly" means that it should be distinguished. The intrinsic nature is the very thing that is to be relied upon as the object and the subject, and must be dependent on it. Whatever else makes something slightly manifest, all of that is the nature of what is to be produced. The conclusion of the argument named "the object of another." Therefore, having thus concluded what is to be proven and what proves it, then concluding the occasion itself, that is why it is called "because of clarity." This is proven to be the result of those things. If it is not dependent on clarity, then the clear things will not become the apprehended object of that consciousness, that is said to be "merely." That is not reasonable, it has already been explained. Thus, following and reversing the following. Because it does not change, and it is impossible to benefit the general. When the clear things are proven to be powerless, the opponent abandons the way of speaking and says that it has power, that is, "if because it appears to consciousness." The clear things that are simultaneous with one thing become the basis of undifferentiated consciousness, that is just this. For it, these are the powers, but if it is impossible, or because it is impossible it becomes powerless, then it exists, but it is not from existence. For the consciousness of an object, the power is only to become the object, and not anything else, this is the thought. Explaining that it is not, that is, "those who have not established benefit." If the object itself becomes the power, then not producing consciousness is not becoming the object of knowledge. If how, saying like this, that is, if it is not producing things, consciousness itself holds with the holding power of the established object, then it will become holding everything, therefore everything will know everything, so it will be too extreme. Therefore, what does not benefit is not the object. If it is not the object, then because it does not appear, how can it be said to have power because it appears? If the object is to be known, and that is only the benefactor, therefore

Moreover, if someone says that for recollection and the cognitions of the past and future, and for knowledge of things like rabbit horns, there are no objects that exist as they are, just like these knowledges, then this is what is called 'unbeneficial.' To this, if someone says that these knowledges are merely without objects, then this is to say that these knowledges are exhausted in being without objects. If the knowledges produced by objects possess the clarity of objects, then in the various consciousnesses that have not been aided by objects, there will be no clarity of objects. For the various consciousnesses that are established by themselves and possess clarity, there is no need to rely on the aid of objects, just like the wisdom of the omniscient ones. If they are without objects, then what do they cognize? Therefore, it is said, 'Even though exhausted in being without objects.' In this way, the appearance that is produced by reason and has become one's own nature, when it exists, it is cognized as if something appears here. For this, the cognition of external objects does not exist, but it is different when one's own cognition becomes one's own nature. The appearance of knowledge, although it is a matter of that time, due to the influence of particular attachment, the past, future, and rabbit horns, etc., are determined as objects. Someone says, 'Because of appearance, it is the power of clarity.' To this, if someone says that appearance is not the reason for power, then this is what is called 'existence and non-existence.' If something exists, then it exists; if something does not exist, then it does not exist, that is the reality of power, but appearance is not power. Power itself is considered to be the reason. To this, it is not possible to function merely by appearance. If the object is the reason, then appearance merely follows existence and non-existence. Even if it is not the reason, it is merely appearance, but not power. Therefore, in order to establish the tenet, it is shown that there is power even without appearance, and there is no power even with appearance, this is what is called 'not understood from appearance,' and so on. Because it is admitted that the general characteristic appears as a vague consciousness, therefore the nature of the general characteristic is merely not appearing as separate from others. Even so, it is merely existent, because existence itself has the particularity of power. Because of existence, it is explained that it knows.
