Therefore, it is only that it does not possess substance. Therefore, the conceptualization that mistakenly perceives things as they are, because it is related to that thing, does not err in that thing. Therefore, even if the action arising from that cognition does not have a specific object, the accomplishment of the purpose to be achieved by the root that obtains it is not without result. For example, when fire is recognized from smoke, although the nature that is inconsistent with fire is recognized, since the state of non-recognition has not been abandoned, when approaching and obtaining fire, the results such as burning are accomplished. This mode is not present in all conceptualizations, because conceptualizations of permanence and so on are conceptualizations of things that are completely non-existent. Conceptualizations of silver and so on are cognitions of things that do not exist in their place and time. It does not deceive in the place of objects, because its function remains in place. Following the distinction of how it is seen is how the seeing is cognized. Grasping a slight resemblance is like mistaking something smeared on a fish bladder for silver and so on, as has been said before. Impermanence itself is similar to permanence because of its nature of being merely blue, pervading the three times, because one is not established and the other is what causes a similar continuum to arise. Here, the example is mistaking the light of a butter lamp for a jewel. Therefore, if someone says, "Then how does it accomplish the purpose of others?" then there is no fault in saying, "Therefore." If this is a cognition of something that is not fire, then what is to be accomplished by fire will not become a delusion. Or, if it is merely the nature of the cognition of fire and is the place of fire, then it will not become the cognition of fire that is the place of something non-existent. If that is the case, then would the cognition of water in a mirage also become the cognition of water? Although it is true, there is no water. Therefore, the reasoning of inference does not become meaningless, because it does not err about things. Therefore, even if the object of conceptualization does not have the function of things, it is reasonable for the function of things to be accomplished. Otherwise, because the thing is not made the object, and the thing will be accomplished, it will become that it arises from the object of conceptualization itself. If it arises from the thing itself, then the object of conceptualization would not have such a fault. The object of conceptualization is one's own

Whatever is said, "Because it is different from the nature, so not doing this, it will not become different," hasn't that already refuted the outsiders who do not allow discrimination against various differences? Because the impermanence of sound is not realized, therefore, whatever is said, "Because this nature is not the same as the nature of the general characteristic, so sound will not become impermanent," the word "to its own characteristic" is also said to refute it. Only by its own characteristic does impermanence exist in its own nature. For example, the very movement of things is the so-called destruction, that is, impermanence, but it does not possess the general characteristic of so-called impermanence. Therefore, if the discriminating mind does not discriminate that the nature of impermanence that appears is the same as its own characteristic, but just by that, it cannot be said that it does not possess impermanence. Because how is it not impermanent that things that did not arise before arise and then disappear? Likewise, recognizing impermanence also establishes the change of things as such. The explanation for this is: The so-called "it abides in such a moment." Therefore, when things abide in the nature of the moment, when holding things abiding in the nature of the moment, one will think, "This is impermanent, this is impermanence." Because the nature of elimination is the ultimate of others, it is thought that things do not depend on being connected with some unchanging general characteristic, so wisdom does not depend on its existence either. Therefore, things and cognition are also destruction, that is, impermanence, so things have impermanence, etc. After establishing this, even if it possesses other natures that contradict it, there is also a situation where it appears as such a nature in the discriminating mind, which is only entering into its nature, that is, recognizing the nature of its own nature by possessing an image. When the discriminating mind appears as impermanence, it will appear as various kinds such as mottled, cow, and huge, and when showing "cow" as one, it will show the subject, and it will discriminate
