If it is said that "it has a place," then by entering with the intellect of "non-fire," the purpose to be accomplished by fire cannot be established. If that is not established, then when water is recognized in a mirage, the thing to be accomplished by water will also be accomplished. Therefore, for the place of conceptualization, it is also difficult to find something different from "it does not do." Therefore, how should it be determined that the nature of "this" and "that"'s "doing," and the nature of "that not doing," are common characteristics? Other faults are also to be stated, such as "for one's own characteristics." Because, with the nature of impermanence, conceptualizations are not the place of their own characteristics, if it is inferred that sound is impermanent from "what is made," then if sound is not understood, the thing itself will not become impermanent. Similarly, other inferences such as inferring selflessness will also disappear. Furthermore, if it is established that the things inferred, such as impermanence and selflessness, are the nature of things because the inferred thing is the place, then when indivisible things are grasped by direct perception, if those things are grasped, if inference is not the place of things, then these are only appearances of conceptualization, not the essence of things. This is explained as "those also," which are impermanence and so on. Those are not the essence of things, because they exist in the nature that is examined. If it is said that, considering superimposition, it can be considered that they are the place of things, that is indeed so, but if impermanence itself is not knowledge, then it is not suitable as the basis of superimposition, to be the place of impermanence. Apart from knowledge, there is no thing that is a place. Therefore, just as impermanence is not understood, discriminative consciousness will not become the place of impermanence. If impermanence itself is only knowledge, then it is knowledge itself that is the place of impermanence, not superimposition. Therefore, if conceptualizations are not the place of things, what will happen? To eliminate this, it is said that "that fault does not exist." Like that, it should be understood that "the same" is something else, not one's own characteristic, and this is how it is shown.

is the appearance to knowledge. Other common things are also just this. How does that consciousness arise, and how does meaning arise? To address this doubt, the word "if" is used. That is to say there is a self. Therefore, the word "therefore" is used because of abandoning the clinging to self. When clinging to self is abandoned, there is no limb of entering, like this, if it exists, then clinging to the suffering self that is the same in the past and future, one enters because of attachment to it. The momentary non-existence of self-awareness is definitely not a limb of entering, this is the answer. The word "if for this" is used. Otherwise, the word "otherwise" is used if the clinging to self is not reversed. If the self relies on suffering, then entering for the sake of abandoning it, this is the meaning of the doubt. If one does not desire suffering itself, then how does one abandon clinging to self? This is the answer, using the word "that that." If one enters for the sake of others without clinging to self, then saying "I" is meaningless, this is saying, using the word "if others are meaningless." Although it is meaningless, it is for the sake of others depending on the situation. If the self is not permanent, then how does one do the benefit of others? Starting from this doubt, the word "I am momentary" is used. The word "just that" is used because for whom there is the desire of others. The word "therefore" is used because of the reason of mutual harm. The word "long-lasting happiness" is because in Nirvana, only the joyful self-nature is constantly manifest, therefore the fruit itself completely abandons the impermanent happiness of self. The word "long-lasting happiness" is the answer. For those who see, the samsaric ones enter because they desire to manifest through the power of leading experience, but for the long-lasting happiness of such a nature as has been said, it has never been seen, therefore how can one desire that which one seeks to enter for whose benefit? If one says to enter for the sake of attaining long-lasting happiness in a hundred years, then at that time it will also become non-existent, the doubt about this is, the commonality of things and non-things themselves will also become not entering the side of non-things. The side of non-things.
