It is not to cause arising, and what abides in the effect is also not to be caused to arise, therefore it would become causeless. If that is the case, since contradictory dharmas exist, the dharmas that exist in the cause would become different, and some of what exists in the effect would become causeless, therefore this fault would occur. If it is said that in all ways, whatever is to be produced and causes production, also in all ways, exists as the object of understanding and the agent of understanding, this is not to avoid this, therefore it is said, "the distinction produced by it." The effect is that whatever dharma exists in the cause, if those dharmas do not exist, the effect will not arise, then only those dharmas are the reason for that effect, and if this is admitted, then it would become that it is produced and causes production by parts. If it is said that grasping the distinction produced by those effects, then that is what is desired. There are two kinds of causal dharmas, namely, the general dharmas that follow, such as the thing itself, and the specific dharmas that do not follow, such as arising from grass. Among these, it is not very contradictory that the general dharmas can be inferred, because it can be admitted. The specific dharmas cannot avoid being admitted, and if one infers based solely on arising from it, then it would become contradictory. The statement about this is that even if the specific differences such as arising from grass exist in other differences, and are not produced from that difference, even so, one cannot say that the difference existing in the cause has no effect on the nature of the effect, because it would become partial production. Therefore, it is thought that that difference is also just a difference in the nature of the effect, in order to avoid the fault of the effect having a difference without the cause having a difference. When that difference of the cause is understood to be concomitant, then it should be understandable in all ways. An analysis of this is to be done, and even so, the production and causation by parts will not be reversed. It is only the nature of fire

If it is said that the particular is the displayer of equanimity, then there would be the inference that particularity also generates particularity. If not, it is because generality itself is generality, not particularity. If it is admitted that it is not particularity itself, then this is because particularity exists in the nature of generality and maintains equanimity. If the nature of things contains parts, then this itself becomes a defect. If it is not so, then there will be no defect in the nature of particularity maintaining equanimity. If things are definite dharmas and the objects of action are different, then how can they not be parts? However, the nature of fire arising from grass, etc., becomes one, and it is the form of Nezhi Mi (Tibetan transliteration). Similarly, the form of smoke is also produced from fire, and its particularity is the indivisible nature. If such a result arises from such a cause, then all forms will arise from all forms. However, by distinguishing the definiteness of different dharmas, it only separates the part of fire from the special part. Therefore, if there is no special part, but still has the nature of following, then the existing smoke will disappear, which means excluding the case of having a special cause. In some cases, because other dharmas have a certain nature, they are combined with that nature and determined to follow; while others are the opposite. For things, the two natures of being cause and effect are different from other things that are cause and effect, so they arise from different natures, so there is no case of parts producing or producing parts. If someone asks: Can this also be said of other dharmas of general and special? That is also inappropriate, because it would lead to the conclusion that scriptures such as "it does not happen for no reason" should not be said. Similarly, in Hetubindu it is said: "The potter is not the essence of clay, and clay is not the particularity of shape," which is also unreasonable, because both clay and potter will produce the particularity of clay and shape, and these are things without parts. In this regard, this arises from all natures, even from one nature.
