It is an action. If experience does not go beyond habituation, it will generate conceptualization. Therefore, what acts together here is that. What is the object of this habituation is not mentioned. Because it is understood only by indicating the dependent conceptualization. Therefore, what kind of conceptualization is habituated? If it depends on it, what is arising? Rather than saying both, it is better to say only the dependent, so that it can be said what habituation is, that is arising. To indicate that, it is said, for example. The aspects of conceptualization of rotten corpses, as well as sexual intercourse and edible things, those are the dependents. Abiding in individual recognition, habituating differently to women and so on, contemplating women as if they were lifeless corpses, like that habituation, because of habituating such conceptualization, experience will generate the same conceptualization. The greedy person habituates to the cause of happiness, and will generate the conceptualization of sexual intercourse. Dogs and jackals and so on habituate to the cause of satiety, and will generate the conceptualization of edible things. The meaning of saying this is, when will the experience of a single thing separated from parts, become conceptualization as its own nature without change? For example, when it exists, because the goal is happiness, is it itself the cause of happiness? Or, just as directly knowing that fire and so on are the cause of smoke, once that single dharma is determined, then other dharmas exist on it, and it must rely on other valid cognitions to understand. One thing and its own nature, is also the nature of other dharmas. Like that, recognizing with that kind of valid cognition, repeatedly habituating that kind of nature, when it becomes the goal, it will definitely be determined like that. If the difference of aspects is not clear, it is not possible to determine through experience. Therefore, even if habituation exists, if the difference of the aspects of the thing that it objectifies is not clearly manifested, then the arising conceptualization is not the object of direct perception.

It will not become the ultimate of what has been done, just as with recollection, from seeing other things, one turns to or clings to other things. Even if the distinctness of the clarity of the aspect becomes clear, it does not depend on habituation, because just as with conceptualizing blue and so on, it changes merely by seeing. If someone asks: From this, what is certain is that a thing that becomes one nature is determined as one nature, although it is an object of focus, but in reality, its own nature is the nature of other dharmas. Because by means of valid cognition, one apprehends its own nature once, and by the power of habituation there, that very nature is also established as the aspect of other dharmas. For example, since it is the nature of generating the aspect of fire itself, if one has not experienced it in connection with smoke, it will not be determined as something called fire. For it, it is determined by appearance itself, just as with horns, generating smoke itself is what makes other things appear, therefore, since smoke is apprehended, the aspect of fire itself is also the cause of smoke, it should be made common, and again and again, if that aspect is apprehended, how is it determined to be fire? Similarly, it is also determined to be the cause of smoke. Then, habituation like that is also necessary, and it is also the aspect of fire itself. If it is not like that, how can one follow the distinctions of the objects made by the experience of conceptual thought? Similarly, for a yogi, the aspect of blue will also become an appearance of a moment. Therefore, experience, just as it changes for form and shape and so on, merely knowing it generates conceptualization, or because of the power of habituation of the aspect of other dharmas becoming the nature of others, other aspects are impossible. Where there is realization of a particularly characterized nature by means of direct perception, merely generating conceptualization is not the action of direct perception becoming special, however, it is merely direct perception itself, for example, it is the same for the shape of jewels and so on, it has already been determined as other. For things that should be habituated, it is also proclaimed that there are other dependencies, that is, for it, it is habituation.
