Then, isn't what is made itself external? Therefore, what comes from the power of apprehension that exists in the mind is also not true. Therefore, just like seeing two moons, that itself is not a sign. The explanation for this is, 'by the object of their inference.' That is to say, the object of their inference, the dharma that exists in that mind, if it understands the meaning, then it is a sign. If it itself is a sign, then it will only become impossible to obtain the meaning. This is what is being expressed: the dharma that exists in the mind itself is not a sign, because if it is a sign, then it will be impossible to obtain the meaning. However, it itself is a thing. Therefore, even if the appearance of conceptual thought is untrue, what contradiction is there? Then, how is the understanding of different dharmas established? Because the conceptual thought that has the inference of different dharmas is able to understand it. If one understands in this way, then one can obtain the distinction between what is established and what is to be established. Therefore, the object to be established and the object that establishes are reasonable. Therefore, the object that understands in this way itself is what establishes. For that very reason, the non-deceptive that has the reason of connection is established. Then, how is the conceptual thought of the nature of understanding the made, which is no different from the external, understood? Conceptual thought is not understanding it, but is itself direct perception. If the made itself, which is understood by direct perception, is no different from impermanence, then how can it become the object that establishes and the object to be established? The answer is, although the made is no different from impermanence, it will follow what is called the made by direct perception. Because it itself is not impermanence, the understanding of different dharmas is reasonable. If direct perception itself understands the sign, then, why is it said to exist in the mind? This has already been explained. The difference of the dharma that exists in the mind follows direct perception. Therefore, it has not gone beyond what is established by direct perception, nor has it lost the characteristic of different dharmas. In this way, after expressing that the nature of the relationship makes the meaning understood, one way is explained. Another way is also explained: 'the result also.' Its sole nature there is the nature of the relationship.

Moreover, as long as the result exists, it is also intrinsically related. The result is also a dependent nature. If there is an intrinsic relation here, then in terms of meaning, there will be no confusion of meaning, which is explained by making understanding dependent on the thing to be understood itself, thereby avoiding confusion there. That is because that is its essence, through the essence, which is the essence of what is to be understood, with one reason to make understood, from what is to be understood, no confusion arises and is placed. Because of the intrinsic relation, for what there is no confusion, that intrinsic relation is the result, when saying this, for what meaning in what meaning there is no confusion, that is dependent on its result, saying this will become understanding it itself as the cause. Its meaning is like this: With its own essence and the intrinsic relation arising from that, in terms of meaning, there will be no confusion of meaning. For its essence, the oneness of essence is the intrinsic relation, therefore from that itself no confusion will arise, if the result for the state of not producing confusion, how will the intrinsic relation exist? Therefore, its nature is spoken of. Things are not existent before arising, this only comes from arising when it exists. The arising of the nature related to the result, is also from the thing for which there is no confusion, because of that reason, the result is intrinsically related. If the inference arising from such an intrinsically related reason becomes valid, then what is the reason for showing two such intrinsically related things? The knowledge to be inferred is spoken of. Through the function of such a knower, the inference that obtains nature becomes valid, for the thing to be inferred by the argument, no confusion arises, concomitance and, if the characteristic of the opposite does not exist, the meaning that does not arise, this is what is to be shown. The argument itself is not valid, however it is the knowledge of inference. Therefore, through that without confusion, when such a thing is established, it is shown that its fundamental knowledge is meaningful. So, in this way, two kinds of knowledge to be inferred are shown.
