In order to show the distinction of the proximate application of all [dharmas], the composition is that the aggregate itself is the basis of whatever is the self-nature of the fruit, such as the appearance of the object. Likewise, from the perspective of attention, it is the nature of the clarity of the function of the senses, and from the perspective of the object, it is connected with the appearance, that is, because this is the clarity of the object, one should follow with "because this is the clarity of the object," and so on. How this is, as such, has already been established elsewhere, so it is not stated here. Those who have not understood the distinction of the aspects of the proximate application of co-arising things should also be examined with "they also exist as such." If one wants to tend towards the causes, etc., gathered within the aggregate, becoming the establisher of the distinction of the fruit, then will each of them also produce such a fruit? Answer: What is said, "because it arises alone," etc., because it is thought that the aggregate itself is the basis of the abiding of self-nature, therefore, co-arising things also arise without distinction. Here, if one gradually speaks of similar metaphors, then undoubtedly it is the prevention of the distinction itself, that is, the meaning that co-arising things do not arise separately. Those who become an aggregate in order to help each other, becoming the nature of making one fruit, should only be understood from the object of one fruit. Thus, by reason, the birth from dissimilar kinds is excluded, and where there is such a sight, there, because whatever follows such things is the root of harm and becomes a different matter, is it a confusion due to recognition? Or is it not so? In order to show that, that is, whenever one sees something arising from a slightly dissimilar kind, one should also look to the meaning of the superior arising from one's own seed, and only the self-nature is different. How is it? Answer: Because it is said that "the self-nature of the cause is different." The thing produced by different causes does not deviate from being different. From what dissimilar kind is it seen that what arises? In order to show that, it is said, "from heavy things, etc., arise blue lotuses, etc." From a blue lotus arises a blue lotus, and the kind is not dissimilar to a blue lotus.

It is also seen to arise from heavy manure. If an utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花) that arises from heavy manure, which is different in kind from utpala, is different from an utpala that arises from utpala, then it is not utpala itself. Therefore, since it is different, how can it be perceived in that way? To this it is explained, saying, 'Also' means, even if it is the form of utpala This is what is said: If it also has the form of utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花), then that which has reasons such as heavy manure is only different due to some distinction. Therefore, its nature is the fruit of heavy manure. If, because of reasons such as heavy manure, it also becomes an utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花) on the crown of Indra, then it is not just utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花). For example, the object itself in the form of a pot arises from a potter, and the nature of wool arises from a weaver, just as the cause does not become different. Whatever is different by the distinction of place and time, one's own characteristic, or an instant, that itself is not different, because the basis for making it different is the difference in nature. Even if that is not established by direct perception, it is not something to be abandoned or made different because it is recognized by the difference in cause. An example of utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花) itself arising from something of a different kind is, for example, a water tree arising from seeds and barley, which is seen as being of a different kind. Therefore, there too, it is similarly considered to be of a different kind. This distinction of utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花) and so on is not something that should be inferred, but making such a distinction is only clearly distinguished in the world. Then how is it said, 'Because the nature of the cause itself is different'? This is not shown as the establisher, but as the cause of the distinction that has become like that. The different distinction arises from a different cause, that is its meaning. Because the utpala (藏文,梵文天城体,utpala,汉语字面意思:青莲花) of cow dung and so on are also different in form, therefore, the world also recognizes them. Therefore, since it is a mistake to mistakenly perceive the cause as different without recognizing all the differences in the fruit, then, as has been said, determine the distinction
