Otherwise, there is nothing. Therefore, saying that because there is no cause, this is not dependent means that if there are some things that did not arise before, if the nature of oneself did not arise, then it is reasonable to say that this is not dependent. That is, if it is always existent, or has never existed, that would be reasonable. In some cases, if it arises occasionally, then if something that did not exist before is changed by something else, because that thing is the cause of this, it will not become without cause. Therefore, because it is only that nature, it is the cause, and because that has become the cause, it eliminates the possibility of existence arising from other things. That which exists from that, if it also arises from other things, then it will only become without cause. Therefore, either it does not arise, or it changes forever. If that is the case, it will become clear that this is like that. If it does not arise when other things are near, then the place and time where it arises will become causal. If it is said that the occasional thing without cause is also without cause, then it becomes saying that without cause it has cause. Like this, that which did not exist before, if it exists, then the arising of that itself is what accomplishes this, and the power of meaning is not other than that, this has already been shown. If that meaning does not exist, and it existed before, then in that case, that is not the cause of that. The previous object or the previous time is not the cause of this, because it becomes very early, so it will become eternally existent. Similarly, if it exists but does not arise, then similarly, the previous previous meaning is not the cause of this, so it is only eternally non-existent. If it is separated from power, when that exists and does not exist, then how can only that be my cause? The power of that is this, it has already been said, this initially does not exist, because that is near, what is that which exists. If the uncaused also exists, and existence is not prevented, then it cannot be said that power is only this, can it? How is existence not prevented? Like this, that existence existed before, or that existence does not exist, then it is not the cause of that. When it existed before, by existence, or by non-existence, all things
