It might change in the same way, so it is not necessarily the cause of fire, and if so, then it does not exist. If something arises after something else without a cause, it is not reasonable that it did not exist before. If it becomes like that, it will either be eternal or never exist, but it is not possible for fire to arise from what did not exist before. Therefore, whatever appears in that way is the result of fire, so according to our view, there is no opportunity to depend on other sights. Again, how is it that if there is no cause, then existence and non-existence will both be eternal? It is explained: the meaning of without cause is because it does not depend on others. Showing that which does not depend, existence and non-existence are not occasional. Because showing that occasionality is caused by dependence, it is said that things are like this. Smoke is like that, etc., is an explanation. If smoke does not depend on a cause, then it will not fail to arise, but will always arise. It is not always the case that it arises only without a cause, so it is said like this. If it exists without a cause, then it will always exist, that is its meaning. Explaining the reason: because when a thing arises, everything is complete without exception. Therefore, just as it is desired to exist, it will always change in that way. At other times, there is no incompleteness of this existing object. If there is some incompleteness that causes it not to exist at that time, then it will not arise in the same way as when it exists. How is there no incompleteness? Because it does not depend. This existence is existent, and dependence is also not existent, therefore, the cause of it not arising at other times due to incompleteness, this incompleteness never exists. Whatever becomes dependent on others, the existence on which it depends is complete, and the opposite of that is the opposite, but not without dependence. Therefore, in this way, there is no cause because there is no dependence. After saying that it always exists, it is said that it never exists, or it will not arise even at the time when it is desired. At other times, it is only that it does not arise.

Because it does not exist even when desired, it will become eternally non-existent. The reason for explaining non-existence is that there is no difference from the time of non-existence. If the cause of a thing exists at some time, because it changes there, if it does not appear at other times, then for things without a cause, there is no cause when it exists, and no cause when it does not exist, so everything does not exist. Therefore, how can this not appear when it does not exist, just as it does not change when it exists? Or like that, will it appear at other times? Therefore, it will become eternally existent or non-existent. If because it falls into having a cause, then is it not that things without a cause do not depend on time? Then how can things and non-things not be different because of the difference in time, so that they are said to be eternally existent or non-existent? Time is not shown by itself because it has dharma, because that is an approximate representation. Therefore, the things and non-things that it approximately represents have no difference at all. For this thing without a cause, if it is determined that there is no dependent cause, then it will change completely as it is now, or as before, or not at all. If things with a cause, when it exists, obtain their own nature, and when it does not exist, it is not, so it is occasional, because only occasionally will a cause arise. If it is not so, then the independent thing will not become proof of non-occasionality. Therefore, the thing without a cause will not become like that because the cause is occasional, if so, just as its own nature has no cause, it will also become occasional. What is the reason for this occasionality? It is also a transcendence for one's own nature, and it is the same as permanence. It is impossible to distinguish like that, and this itself is not unreasonable. If so, it will not become the field of speculation, but merely that will not become non-existence. If it is said that dependence is proof of occasionality, then this will become the pervasion of occasionality, if there is no pervasion, then the pervader will not be non-existent, if it is said like this, then what is to be said is that this means that a thing depends on it, if it exists, then its own nature exists, and the meaning of depending on it is more.
