This has been promised. Therefore, merely existing from the nature of not having arisen is arising, and from realizing it, and it exists, whatever is apprehended as existing because of its existence, that is realization. Therefore, the cause and effect and the realization of it are without flaw. So, this establishes the directly perceived and the non-apprehended. Then, regarding that, why is it not said, "Even if one is missing"? This is said in order to grasp the meaning of certainty that "It is only this cause." Like this, is the result perceived to arise from many approaching simultaneously, or is it from approaching sequentially? Even if there was a previous approach, but because the result that was not there comes later, the dependence is completely fulfilled, so it is that very approach that produces the result. Therefore, how does one or many produce the result merely by approaching? Because it fulfills the dependence of approaching those that were previously present, so it is like that, the doubt that arises is dispelled by the subsequent non-apprehension. Among those apprehensions, even if one is missing, it is non-apprehension. For example, when there is fire, if there is no firewood, although fire is seen to exist, there is no smoke. Similarly, for firewood, if there is no fire, it will become non-existent. If these two exist, then even if there is nothing else, it will not revert. Therefore, like that, if those exist, from the existence of smoke that has not previously arisen, thereby realizing that it is the cause of those, then, when which collection of causes approaches, it exists, is that the complement of those that are approaching? Or, is it that among those, there are also some things that are not causes? When it is determined, it will be realized like this. The result itself is also present in the smoke. Therefore, regarding what is said, "How does smoke not deceive fire?" this has been dispelled by this. Therefore, like that, for the time being, in order to show that the result of the result itself is without deception, the result itself that is realized by valid cognition is spoken of. That is, in order to show how there is no deception from this, "Even without it" is mentioned. Even without it, if smoke exists, then one would be deceived by it, and even if it does not exist but exists, it would go beyond having a cause, therefore it would not become its result itself, that is its meaning. Its meaning is like this: smoke is the result, because the nature of the result of fire is seen. The result is also non-deceptive, and it is the characteristic of the nature of non-deception.
