However, the entity is just like that. Arising is also like that. Therefore, the entities of cause and effect of the Sugatas are no different from other non-Buddhists. However, here, whatever additional discriminations are unnecessary and do not conform to प्रमाण (pramāṇa, measure), are eliminated, and by acknowledging, it is completely purified. The assertions of externalists are just that. Whatever is said to be able to become an object of non-discrimination can be acknowledged in both ways, because it can be included in the faults of the two truths. If such a form is without harm, then external objects are only the ultimate truth. If there is indeed harm, then because it does not exist in its own nature, but exists in the nature of others, it is the conventional truth. Because it is made an object by discrimination, it is neither the ultimate truth nor the conventional truth, but is completely non-existent, because discrimination is completely non-existent. The appearance of non-existence will be eliminated. That which exists, other than the two cases of previously existing and previously non-existing, cannot appear in non-discrimination, therefore, as previously stated, it is the entity of cause and effect. Therefore, before the fruit is produced, it is not the case that it becomes an entity by obtaining the nature of existence that did not exist. Because, the fruit previously became the nature of non-existence of an entity, and later became the entity itself, it is not like that. The fruit was not previously an existing entity, and if it becomes existent, then the so-called non-existent entity, the other, does not exist. Therefore, because it is nothing, what will become other here? If it is established as non-existent, then it will change. At that time, if there is doubt about the existing entity that it also existed previously, then this is merely the negation of existence, and it is not established by non-existence at that time. Therefore, how can it be the nature of non-existence? The so-called absence of the nature of an entity is merely a wish. As stated in the examination of the three times: For the meaning without a basis, the cause is not abandoning the step. Even so, if the cause exists, then the previously non-existent entity is seen as existing. What was its state previously? This is dependent on the entity.

In this so-called "time," it is impossible for both to be absent. For things that are partless and without sequence, and for things that have not arisen before, what is it that I clarify? This is truly amazing! As it is said. Because the previously existing thing upon which the result depends exists, there is no action for it, so in the second moment, when existence itself exists, there is no need for a cause, so with extremely manifest measure, it is understood at that time whether it exists or does not exist, whether it is permanent or impermanent. There is no difference between cause and effect in things. There is no harm in acknowledging the nature of things in this way, and it is also visible. For those who speak of external objects, because they acknowledge the thing itself, and it is also impossible not to arise from the action of the cause. For those who speak of consciousness, it is also unreasonable by the power of knowledge because knowing itself is not the nature of knowledge. In the conventional sense, because it appears as becoming its essence, it is not permanent either. If it were not so, it would become like a rabbit's horn, so it must be transformation. In the ultimate sense, there is no birth or cessation at all, because there is not even consciousness, so saying that this is only conventional, and also because of slandering karma and its results, samsara, etc., even the beautiful things on this shore cannot overcome it, and also because of abandoning what is seen. It is unreasonable for everything not to exist, because the particularly acknowledged consciousness is established by reason. Therefore, for this statement that acknowledges arising from others and the destruction of nature, for the time being, in terms of its own nature, as universally acknowledged, there is no contradiction, because permanence and annihilation are unreasonable, so it is also established by reason. Therefore, it is unreasonable for existence itself to arise, and for things, actions, etc., do not exist either. Therefore, existence itself, which did not exist before, is what arises. That is also not caused, so if there are other things, then the nature of the thing that arises is the result. Therefore, the nature of the result itself, what kind of form its own nature is, is the measure that is applied. The self-existent thing that did not exist before
