I, for example, or its basis, all of these are not needed, explained by "for what purpose" and so on. If, on the contrary, it is to strongly show the connection, then that is already established, since that is the case, what is the use of giving an example? If so, then it is already accomplished the meaning of the present moment, what is said as "even if strongly shown" is this meaning. If the example itself is not necessary, if it is strongly shown, then as a changing dharma, what is the basis of the dissimilar example, that is also meaningless. If an example is given, then at that time the observation with the object of the basis will intervene, if even speaking is not done, then there is no doubt that the basis is not needed. What is said as "the teacher also thinks this way" means thinking like this in the mind. Then, if the opponent does not admit the permanence of space and other eternal dharmas, how can the permanence itself be returned? After welcoming the necessity, there is no doubt about that, because there is no that, so it will not intervene in that, the teacher Dignāga therefore abandoned the basis. Therefore, like this, saying that without an example, the basis is abandoned, it shows that only the connection is admitted, after showing it, again in other ways it shows that the teacher admits the connection, it is because of that reason. For the example, with what reason to abandon the basis of the characteristics of showing its own nature and the real object of the cause, it is precisely because of that reason, for the enlightened one who can understand the connection, from the two, saying any appropriate example, through understanding the meaning, through obtaining by implication, that becomes the cause, and correct memory will arise. It is said like this, when the example strongly shows the connection, even if it is two kinds, saying any one, if the connection is understood, then from the second example, memory will closely arise. Showing this is "or". Or, through understanding the meaning, any one strongly shows both, what is said is, not only what was said before, but also there the teacher also thinks that the example shows its own nature and the real object of the cause, through understanding the meaning, saying one example, the other example is established. Also, how to make the example

It shows the thing itself. If understood through meaning, how can it make others remember? Therefore, it is said like this. Briefly speaking, it shows a close connection, but it will be explained in detail. If it is said, "Whatever is made is impermanent," this indicates the consistency of the Dharma. Even in the case of metaphors, merely stating the most similar point is to show that, according to the way it is said, the metaphor is not different. Clearly, without a doubt, whatever is impermanent is the very nature of this made thing. The so-called "nature" refers to what is related to what is said. Whatever is related to what exists is its nature. Impermanence itself is also related to the existence of what is made. If it is said, "Whatever is made is impermanent," then how can it be understood that this is its nature? Therefore, it is said, because it is certain that it exists. Because it is certain that impermanence exists, it is known that this is its nature. Regarding the statement "Whatever is made is impermanent," it is definitely understood that impermanence exists, because "whatever is made" refers to completely encompassing and showing all made things. It is said in this way because it definitely shows that it is inseparable from what is made, therefore it is understood that impermanence is the nature related to this. If it is not its nature, then like this, it does not closely show, therefore, just as it exists, its nature is seen through valid cognition, and thus it is understood from itself. What is said is seen through valid cognition. If even if it is not its nature, can't its existence be certain? Then how can one understand from it one's own nature related to this? Therefore, it is said, if there is no different meaning. For the time being, impermanence is not different from what is made. Whatever is not different, it is certain that it exists, which makes one understand that it is the nature of one Dharma. Even if it is not different, because what is made arises from effort, it is not certain. Therefore, if one states what follows what has been shown, it will be understood as its nature. Therefore, because one knows "it is its nature," through understanding the nature of things by way of meaning, through the understanding of meaning, if impermanence does not exist, then what is made itself does not exist. If impermanence does not exist
