It should be added, "How does it become that?" As for apprehending pleasure and so on, and form and so on, isn't the apprehender apprehended by a single apprehender because it is related to a single aggregate? For the consciousness that apprehends form, pleasure, and so on, it does not only apprehend pleasure and so on, because there is no difference in relation. When contemplating that the nature of the apprehender and the apprehended are definite, therefore "pleasure, etc." is mentioned, meaning that the single direct perception of the nature that appears as pleasure and blue, etc., is the producer of things, power, etc., and is not another apprehender, nor is it an apprehended object. Therefore, it is also clarified how those other non-knowers know their own nature. If blue, etc., are external and pleasure, etc., are not external, how are they one? This is because the part of internal exclusion exists in other external objects. Or, for pleasure, the meaning of the nature of pleasure, and for suffering, the nature of non-pleasure, etc., this is also the knowledge that abides in the self-nature, and the self-nature is also knowledge, just like blue, etc. By the word "self-nature," the act of knowing oneself, such as knowledge and pleasure, etc., is indicated, just like the discrimination of blue. For the side of pleasure, etc., of an unknown self-nature, it is contradictory to those who understand the nature of consciousness as a seed. For the side of pleasure, etc., of the nature of consciousness, it is not like that, because sometimes it awakens. This is an explanation of the key points of the verse. If it is said that pleasure, etc., then now it is also said that pleasure, etc., of an unawakened nature also arise from the distinction of the awakening of habit, and what arises from habit arises at the time of awakening, it is not the awakening of what existed before, habit is of awakening, not of non-awakening, just like pleasure, etc., that arise according to habit are only knowledge. Even if it is the habit of awakening, it will be scattered.

Like going to search for something, it happens even without understanding, but not happiness, etc., because there is no seeking without understanding, which shows: If it arises from the power of habit, that's what it means. If it is knowledge itself arising from the power of the habit of knowledge, then what arises from the habit of knowledge is not the appearance of knowledge, which shows: habit, memory, and recognition. Like happiness, searching for what is needed, etc., because one is not familiar with the nature of not understanding, so one thinks that only not understanding will occur, which is: if memory, etc., also. It means that it is not the nature of knowledge, but through continuous entry, the power of a hundredfold knowledge will become knowledge. Apart from the time of knowledge, there is not the slightest measure to say that it exists, which shows that searching for what is needed, etc., is understood by others: the realm of appearance is feasible. Like direct perception, it is like understanding. If it is a metaphor, it is like direct perception, like direct perception. It means that it is an example of a metaphor, which is happiness, etc. One's own meaning is like appearance, from its position also. The meaning of direct perception and memory, etc., is that there is no difference in the stages of holding and existence. If it is a metaphor, it means that there is no difference between clarity and the other, etc. Or, the previous and that is the happiness, etc., that may arise, for recognizing through memory, it is color and shape. Because it holds hidden things. It means that for hidden things, even if there is no previous memory and existence, it will hold that this is that. The meaning is that the thing itself is happiness, etc., or color, etc., for direct perception, it is the object of happiness, etc., or for others also. Asking what is the only reason for the difference of things, that is, or things. From no thing, that is because there is none. There is no other, that is, what is used to distinguish. The answer is that no is not distinguished from yes. Because they are not the same, it shows that things are not the same either.
