That which is called sameness itself is the aggregate of sameness itself. If it is said that the appropriation of sameness itself is meaningful, etc., then the power of the aggregate that is shown becomes irrelevant. However, at that time, the non-arising of happiness is other than the cause of consciousness, meaning that happiness does not arise dependent on other causes. Just as with consciousness, so too with happiness, etc. What is shown is that other causes that do not depend on the eye, i.e., with object and without object, have no measure. If they do not exist, they will not arise, this is negation. If they exist but do not arise, this is not following. The boundary is drawn with "non-ability." Then, for what is ability? For accomplishing what is desired. For example, rosaries and sandalwood, etc., for accomplishing happiness, the knowledge of Dharma, etc., is the meaning of approaching the aggregate of happiness, etc., itself. The thought that the aggregate of happiness, etc., that arises from the difference of Dharma, etc., from the aggregate of pure knowledge is different, this is "However, because the causes are different." If from the aggregate of rice seeds, etc., themselves, other substances are obtained, just as sprouts, etc., become more and more different, if there is nothing else that distinguishes Dharma, etc., from the aggregate of knowledge itself, then what is shown is the difference of the fruits of happiness and non-happiness knowledge, this is "That is also, because of what." What is shown here is "From the difference of those themselves." I think that if the product of one aggregate is one, then one aspect is only one, just as one aspect has the difference of essence and non-essence, etc., just as the difference of happiness and suffering, etc., of the fruit Naga-ranga, etc., is, so too is consciousness. Through the difference of the appropriation of the aggregate itself, what is shown is that it changes into various aspects from others, this is "Happiness and suffering, etc., are different." "By the nature of is and is not." The meaning is that the non-different arises from the non-different aggregate, and this shows the various natures that arise from the appropriation of different things themselves. Dharma, etc.

The explanation that the fruit produced by different causes is uncertain is what is called "wisdom, etc." The re-explanation that wisdom, etc., and happiness, etc., are the same collection is what is called "happiness, etc., also." What is called "for the sake of the foolish" means that the habituation of the continuum of beings is without fruit. Because although there is sinful karma, which is the cause of all poverty, there is still non-retrogression. Therefore, because there is happiness, etc., just like wisdom, etc., it is explained that it arises from the difference of the continuum, which is called "by nature," and not being weak is the cause of poverty because it has thoughts of harm, etc. Consciousness, like memory, arises from attention, is it not said that it does not arise from objects, etc.? If someone says that happiness only arises from objects, etc., then, what is called "if happiness, etc., arises from objects, etc." What is called "this" refers to the one who attends. What is called "from that" refers to from cultivation. The object of habituation is the apprehended object of knowledge, but happiness, etc., is not the apprehended object, if someone thinks, how could this be an object? What is called "if something is apprehended." It means that it is taken by the conceptual thought of the apprehended, or by other means, just like that from habituation, it becomes clear and becomes the apprehended, otherwise it is not. If knowledge is different, then just like the object of knowledge is different at the same time, in order to explain that etc. arises from the side, what is called "if knowledge is different." If knowledge is different, but someone thinks that I, who actually exists in different times, am aware of different times, what is called "one I, is." Because I am the nature of awakening, other consciousnesses are meaningless. In order to explain that this is not following, so there is no habituation, what is called "I want to awaken." Because the knowledge seen before is the object of recognition. In order to explain that just like the object of habituation, happiness, etc., is also, what is called "if that is so, happiness, etc., also." Even so, what is apprehended by conceptual thought is clear habituation.
