It is. The so-called "arising from the senses" means arising from the senses. To explain the reason why other explanations that contradict the root will change, the so-called "by the word happiness, etc." means that because it is the cause of happiness and unhappiness, happiness and unhappiness are the nature of hot and sweet, etc. If you ask: How can it be said to arise from the senses? Answer: It is called "although not discriminating, it appears." Saying so is approximately assuming that it arises from the senses. The so-called "grasping different aspects" means grasping various aspects, because they are accustomed to various aspects. The so-called "in that" is to show that the cause of grasping various aspects itself has no difference, that is, it is also the same for root consciousness. If so, then how to get used to it? It is thought that it is the various kinds of consciousness themselves that are attached to the function of the mind itself, so it is thought that "the mind itself is not." If the product of the habitual mind is the direct perception of the mind itself, then just like "this is it," it will become "that is it," so it is thought that "however, it is consciousness." In order to explain that all those arising from the senses are not direct perception because they are differences in meaning, and are also mental, it is said: The meaning of following one's own meaning, what is the cause of it, that is also this, and the meaning also depends on it, so it is dependent on it, that is, it is connected with root-born wisdom. Is deliberation not discrimination? If you think how is it direct perception? Answer: It is called "it is," that is, it is direct perception because it is indicated by a clear appearance, but it does not mean the category of discrimination. The causal root consciousness is not simultaneous with the mind, and even if the times are different, it does not act simultaneously with the object of the mind, because it is the object at the time of the mind, so it is thought that "if consciousness is also." In order to explain the verses spoken by the opponent, that is, self-consciousness has temporality, which is simultaneous with the mind. In order to explain that the absence of the fruit before itself is universal, and that it is contradictory to pervade the producer itself, it is said that it did not exist before.

Also. The very existence of the fruit, or pervading by existence, pervading the producer itself, what is shown is contradictory, called "later also." For the previously existing, the producer itself, pervading from the fruit or the cause, is not contradictory, because existence and non-existence have not been established. What is shown is: "All causes exist beforehand." That is. Self-mind, that is, not simultaneous with mind, but only simultaneous with root consciousness, is the meaning of this. The object grasped pervaded by the action of grasping, is it not at the time of grasping? It is unreasonable at other times, because appearance is not close. Other times are also objects to be pervaded, this saying is only words, because that closeness itself is self-nature closeness. How is there no universality in this? Because this does not exist at that time. At the time of appearance, it is only existence, because it is said that appearance exists. Thinking like this is called "different times." If the experience produced by the senses and so on does not enter non-self-nature, even if it enters non-object, it is only its own self-nature, because it is born from it, it is the holder. Showing that such a cause itself is the grasped itself is called "knowing as grasped." In the nature of appearance, the grasped itself pervades simultaneously with consciousness, saying it is different, contradiction is pervasive, this is "appearance also." What is this, is a tenet. If consciousness exists, the very joy that appears, the nature of not appearing before, is not born of another, even so, thinking that the power of consciousness exists, is called "consciousness is also that." If consciousness exists, it is following. Otherwise it is not, it is repatriation. Simultaneous itself is the fruit, because it is seen, it is said "seeing simultaneously." Showing that the changes of consciousness and so on with different functions such as eyes are not objects, is "if so," that is, understanding as me, also takes the body, senses, joy, etc. themselves as objects, is the meaning of this. Not the nature of meaning.
