It is further adhered to by conceptualization. Therefore, isn't it the case that, in relation to the object of entry, it possesses a differentiated object? Inference, because it is common with other causes, demonstrates it, and from that perspective, it is also an object of generality. If one thinks in this way, and does not examine the activity of direct perception, but only examines conceptualization, then both are equally objects of generality. If it is a momentary direct perception, then it also relies on the direct perception of signs, and the difference is the same. Because for the moment that is grasped, its continuum is necessarily determined, and for the result that is grasped, its continuum is also necessarily determined, what is shown is: Taking what is related to it is called "that." "That" is called will arise. "Related" is called the first. For inference, the realization of the sign that is related to what is to be established arises after direct perception, the reason is for what will arise. "Its kind" itself is the object of direct perception. For whom? For the object of inference, then add "inference." "There" is called for inference. "For this" is called the realization arising from direct perception. "Here" is called for direct perception. "For this itself" is called showing that a clarity is unreasonable, it is not like that, arising and will arise, is called different from other continuums, is also the meaning of merely generality. What is to be obtained is what is to be entered, if the object to be obtained itself does not exist, it is called the present, it is also the same for delusion. "Seeing" is called for the light of the jewel, it is known as the jewel. "The later ones" is called because establishment and happiness are the same. Is it not certain that only the first moment of knowing is grasped, and the certainty that belongs to it? If it is not certain there, then it is unreasonable to examine that object, if you think so, then it is said "if you hesitate." If the measure is complete in the ultimate matter of certainty, then it is not hesitation, because it will become such a fault for everything. Only not a measure, is called because it is the cause of the harm of hesitation. If it is so, it is called that before entering, the enterer does not exist.

In order to show that the knowledge with a hesitant object is not a valid cognition, but rather an entry. The meaning of "seeing for a while" is that it is unreasonable from the uncertain valid cognition itself. For the clear direct perception, unclear situations will occur, and for the unclear inference, the object of entry is clear. Investigation is unclear, while the other is clear. What makes the clear also add fabrications is inference. To show that inference is like other inferences, it is "or in another way." If someone asks, what is that direct perception? The answer is that the main thing is to speak of the action, and if one is very familiar and without discrimination, it is said to be a special entry. That discrimination, whether it has combination or association. The so-called "even without it" is even without discrimination. Does the entering direct perception part not approximately represent the discrimination that generates determination? In order to show why direct perception has a clear function in all parts, it is said: "From the aspects of following and reversing." The entry of discrimination is that direct perception has the ability to enter, which is combined after transformation. The so-called "in this way" is because establishing names does not help, so for the discrimination that precedes memory, and the memory of stating determination, etc., it will not arise for objects that are not expressed, so like memory, it will also become a name, so it is not the ability of discrimination. Why is the nature reason also meaningless for expressing oneself? Therefore, for what is not expressing oneself, whether it is a nature reason or another, it is determined for the sake of name. Even if it is determined there, there is no certainty for its function, so its determination is only from oneself being a sign, so there is no fault. The so-called "even if it is entering a hidden object" is the same for direct perception and inference. The so-called "with the distinction of clear and unclear" is the distinction of the object to be taken. Therefore: "Because thinking has no deception, Even in confusion, it is a valid cognition." This is well said.
