Now, it is said that it does not depend on things, because it does not appear but appears. If it changes like that, then it will become a common thing. If it is not like that, then it is said "not", meaning: if it depends on things, because it is related to things. It means that for things, there is no change, and the commonality that is not a thing will not change, only things will change. Because of clinging to the thing itself, it is also the fruit of the thing, which is what is said as "related to the thing". The answer is: in any way, For consciousness, because that thing does not appear. It is said like this, and therefore, it is not possible to accomplish things only through consciousness. This is a detailed answer. For things that have happened and will happen, because their consciousness does not focus on the commonality but appears. To show that the past and the future are not commonality, it is said "because of seeing". "Other" means that even if there is no commonality. Explaining "consciousness depends on things" is: if it depends on things, because it is related to things. This is a statement made after acknowledging the thing of its own characteristics. If consciousness is about commonality? And so on, this is about the existence of commonality. "Opposite" means about the non-existence of commonality. If it is said, how does the common consciousness that clings to the thing of its own nature and commonality depend on things? This is: if the Dharma nature of things disappears. Through transmission, it is shown that the essence of self-nature depends on things, which is: having the precursor of clinging to things. Hidden means that, like the self, etc., it is not the realm of measurement. To show that only self-nature is the realm of measurement, therefore it is measurable, it is said: one's own nature is measurable. For things, is not the direct perception of the appearance of self-nature and the subsequent thought of the appearance of commonality two kinds of consciousness? If it is said like this: because there are two measurable, so there are two measures. If you think like this: how can that be one? This is: existence and non-existence. For subsequent thought, it only distinguishes self-nature, but not just distinguishes commonality. Why? Because the things to be done are from that, that is, from self-nature, not common

Its nature is its own characteristic as represented by. Likewise, from the distinction of appearance, it is taught that there are two objects to be measured. It is to examine by inference whether one's own characteristic exists or does not exist, because it is the nature of distinguishing. It is the meaning of "not grasping." In order to have the meaning of one's own characteristic, the scriptures with the realization of distinguishing by means of valid cognition are taught that the commentary is doing the work of meaning. Because it is the scripture for the meaning of one's own characteristic, therefore, the two valid cognitions that are realized by it will also become the objects of one's own characteristic, as it is taught that "therefore." It is not the reason for being different from inference and so on that it arises only from the sensory faculty of direct perception, because even without it, self-awareness and so on are direct perception, as it is taught that "no, it is the arising of the sensory faculty." What arises from sound and approximate measurement and so on is not the arising of a collection other than inference, it is not valid cognition, because it does not connect with meaning in the same way. Even if it connects, it is only inference, as it is taught that "therefore, there are two objects to be measured," only by the two aspects of appearance. In this way, there are no faults such as being and not being pervasive. If it is said that inference also only shows its own characteristic, then it will not become two objects to be measured. To this, "that is" means one's own characteristic, by the difference of the function of direct perception and another valid cognition, the meaning of establishing one as two. If the object to be measured is approximately shown by the function of valid cognition, then there will be no difference between the two, but if it is with its function, then it is not ultimate, and if each is established separately, it will become infinite, as it is said that "if by the difference of realization." Therefore, this is not the nature of the difference said by the nature of self and other, etc. of that. How do you know the ultimate meaning, it is said that the approximate representation by them is the meaning of one. Infinite.
