Because the collection itself has been admitted. Even if it is an existing object, it is imputed. Regarding the non-existent object, what is mainly shown is "as it is discriminated," meaning that although there is no real object that corresponds to the discriminations of the Samkhya school, the words "chief" etc. are mainly used, and combined to say that your view is a reversal of worldly cognition. To impose concepts such as "chief" on non-existent things, because there is nothing to impose, things with non-existent objects will become imputed, which is what is called "how is it other." To show that the sound of past pots etc. is not the object of mistaken cognition, but the imputator itself, it is said "from sound." "Broken" refers to the past. "Unbroken" refers to the present. Being like that itself is without difference. Existence and non-existence are also the same, and it is not a difference caused by it. For direct perception, to show that non-existent things are only non-existent, which is a difference, it is said "meaningful." For the past and present, even if there is no mistaken cognition, it is only grasping the general characteristic, not because it is meaningful. Regarding the cognition of "chief" etc., isn't it also just like the discriminations, only having the object of the general characteristic? If you think so, that is what is called "only the general characteristic." To show that if there is no ultimate clarity, then it is not a general characteristic, and the past etc. are also not, it is said "that also." If you only grasp things other than clarity, then it will become not a general characteristic, but for things without difference, isn't there no fault? This is what is called "however, clarity itself." The nature of clear things is intended to be mutually contradictory, and because it is impossible to recognize non-difference, to show that it is not a discrimination that touches it, it is said "things that are mutually different." Appearance is inverted, and isn't what is not inverted just observable? This is what is called "if there are two natures." What follows it is the general characteristic. One's own nature is the nature that follows it. By one's own nature, it is the direct perception known by direct perception. If the nature of clarity is not inverted and is one, then it will not become the nature of clarity, because that
