It is a rejection from both, because it is the meaning of realization. Listening itself is the cause of doubt, and it is established if the rejection is uncertain. Therefore, it is declared for the meaning of solely, that is, certainly rejecting, that is, with "therefore, with the absence of rejection itself," and so on. Others say that "certainty" refers to other aggregates. Although the space of the Sutra School does not exist, it can be measured because it is the object that enters through the distinction of existence and non-existence. Therefore, it is not, because there is no certainty about impermanence. What is declared is: in the aspect of the non-existence of space. "That" refers to space. It is thought that the sound of qualities that is not suitable for other qualities, the space with qualities that should be realized, is itself a substance. Space also, even if it is a substance without touch, is the name of space in the world, because there is no doubt about others, so it is not admitted. The flute and lute, etc., themselves are the reason for the accumulation of sounds, it is said that it is the meaning of being different by its difference. For the unobstructed space, what is declared is that there is no need for other things to be proven, if it is not so, then not even one step can be taken. "The non-deceptive name" is established, this is established as non-deceptive in doing things, and it is also the cause, therefore it is to be distinguished. What is to be known is other than just knowledge, it is said to be the meaning of existing mixed as one with it and knowledge. Existence itself and action itself, etc., for the non-existent permanence, just like non-existence, it is only non-existence, what is declared is the easily obtainable meaning of rejection, that is, if it is so. "Because it produces direct perception," if it is said to be karma, then add "from things." What is declared is that life, etc., just like non-existence in the compliant side of non-existence, is also non-existence itself. Or, "this is the realm of things," this is the established tenet, or it is the meaning of establishing to be close, or it is also doubt. "This" refers to having and not having in the compliant side, etc. If it is so, then "the invisible connection" refers to the debater.

Oh! Two relations cannot exist in non-things. To explain that even if these two are not observed, they exist through indirect means, (the text says:) "Because there is no cause and pervader." Like the thing called "own-nature," through manifestation itself. And "hidden" means that it is not possible. What is called "that" refers to not having a connection with what is not possible. If one thinks that only non-own-nature can express the relation, (the text says:) "Through the reversal of cause and essence." That is, through the reversal of cause and pervader. What is called "expression" refers to the teacher (saying), for example: "For it, what exists in the similar kind, and what does not exist when both are absent?" etc. What is called "not explained differently" is because it is not independent. The reversal of cause and nature, even if nature is not observed, is expressed in that way in relation to the result and the pervaded. (The text) explains: "Even if nature is not observed." If someone says, "If it is not observed, how can there be existence?" (The text answers:) "It is also like that." If someone thinks that just as non-existence is inferred from not observing causes etc., it can also be inferred from not observing results etc., then merely not observing does not prove non-existence, so what does? The teacher approximates by saying "possible," (the text says:) "For it also." That is, if a person is not observed, then from things like a pot, it can be inferred that life etc. do not exist, but not from a living body, because not observing a person does not mean non-existence, and relying on inferring existence from not observing it, therefore, non-observation with specificity is what proves non-existence, and not others. Just like non-observation, isn't it only through reasoning that the distinction between non-fire and non-tree, which can be manifested, is proven? Therefore, if one thinks that "here, both are proofs of things" etc. are unreasonable, (the text answers:) "Through this, for things also, it is a part of things." What is called doubting non-fire or non-tree is the result of contradiction, or pervaded by contradiction, or negation.
