I am like the general characteristic of being separate from what can function. The nature of things, although not functioning as it is now, is not like a general characteristic, because appearances are different. Showing "if it does not exist," etc., means if it does not exist. If everything different from the realization of the past, etc., is conventional truth, then it is not a discriminator, because all realizations have no difference in aiming at objects. When showing this, "What is this conventional truth?" means that it is only not. How is it known? From the word "thing." The nature of expression is that the conventional truth is harmed by understanding things, that is, "the true truth of conventional truth." If things are speakable, then it is not imputed, because it will become the main thing, so it is for non-things. Therefore, it is shown that non-things will also become speakable, that is, "Therefore, things." Like saying cow to a cow, isn't the saying with different expressions the main thing? If it does not exist, then imputation is like saying cow to a humped one, which is saying "However, there is no realization." It is being established that there is no object, that is, "What is seen." "Where is the nature" means because it cannot distinguish appearances. "By what is it a thing" means because it will become having no object. Just like clinging to the realization of the nature of past things as the present. It also shows its time, that is, "If that is the case, then." Not like that, it is not one's own nature. "General characteristic" means the nature that is clung to as seen. "All" means neither direct perception nor inference. "Then, that" means that it is the object of inference. Although the clear nature realized by direct perception is not the object of inference, the unclear one is "that this" or the distant one, thinking that whichever is the object, this is saying "However, even direct perception." "That this" is not direct perception, because it is not what should be examined. It is also shown that for distant things, it is like becoming blurred due to the fault of the cause, that is, "For that general characteristic is direct perception."

It is called "Thatness." What is meant by "common to both" is that it is common to both the past and the present, which are called "This is it." It is shown that the present appearance, together with the past appearance, is not understood as being non-different, which is called "appearing as the present." For conceptualization, it is also shown that from its function, there is no different common nature, which is called "although it appears as many." It is shown that its proof, only by approaching the kind and similarity, relation, etc., is it closely established, but not merely caused by no reason, which is called "The mind enters without error." It is the reason and the reason related to it, but not merely caused by no reason is it established, because it is too excessive and confusing. Only by the reason and the cause similar to it, for the main and the established, also as it is, one is not confused about the object, this is another intention, so think. Only when there is a reason for the main and the imputed, does the mind enter. If not, it is not without error. In the commentary, it is said that the object of the unerring mind is the main one, and the other is imputed, which arises from the heart. Showing this, it is called "another," which is confusion. For example, it is also the same for the Brahmin boy. What is meant by "to another" is to impute to the object only without reason. The objectless is the imputator, just as the similar reason is not the main one. Showing entry without error, "Even if there is no meaning, it goes." What is meant by "even if there is no meaning" is not the imputator, because it is not the meaning of entering without error. Or, the reason for the nature of reality and imputation is that only by entering without error for reality, this is also combined with the meaning of the previous verse, which is called "to what," that is, for one to enter with confusion, for the other it is only the opposite of this, this is the meaning. The explanation of the commentary is clear. What is meant by "to another" is from having needs, etc. What is meant by "because of similarity" is because of understanding without error. By the object of existence and non-existence itself, the meaning appears.
