It is able to fully understand, and the other knowable and unknowable things that are shown are called "by what nature." Just like distinguishing fruits, it shows that something will not arise without something, and that is its meaning. The so-called "which self" is what needs to be proven. The so-called "self" is the nature of the dharma of the establisher. The so-called "that and" is what needs to be proven with. When the nature of the establisher becomes what needs to be proven, and the establisher also becomes knowable because it is this, for this kind of thought, it is called "undifferentiated." What needs to be proven, such as impermanence, etc., and what is done, etc., are only knowable, not the tree itself, nor the sal tree, because they are the nature of definite and indefinite objects, so they are not that itself. The so-called "which" should be connected with the dharma of the establisher "that." The so-called "nature of the tree" refers to the nature of which tree. If it is like this, the so-called "direct perception" refers to grasping the two without distinction, and that is its meaning. The nature of which sal tree is like that. Similarly, in order to show the difference between the establisher and the other, that is, the nature of that or that and not that, it is not, because it is not undifferentiated itself. Its nature is the same as the knowable and the other, but undifferentiated is not like that, so that is its mark, for this kind of thought, it is the so-called "if its." Although the certainty of undifferentiated is not its nature, in order to show that it is only knowable, it is said to be "its self." The so-called "undifferentiated or certain" is also to clearly point out the difference between the nature of synonyms and the things that arise from it, because it is uncertain from other aspects, so it shows that "this has already been said." "Its" is the reason for the knowable. "Those" refer to its nature and the things that arise from it. "The one with difference by its difference" shows that it is only knowable, which is the so-called "its interior." Because the other is uncertain, in order to show that these uncertainties themselves do not exist in certainty, it is said that "its nature is." That is,

That which has the nature of being established by whom, that is its nature, and by whom is the nature of that which is to be established? Seeing that its nature and that which arises from it and is separate are also knowable, this is what is taught here. Those with qualities, etc., are what? It is said that its nature, seeing wood fragrance as the nature of wood, should not be questioned as to how it is. Smoke arises from fire, but this is not like the appearance of Pleiades, the non-appearance of Rohini, etc., so in the elimination, there is doubt about returning. What is said is that those may be mistaken. There is no change other than this, which means that there is no knowable itself. Therefore, it is by the unknowing consciousness. As it is said that what is mistaken in returning is the nature of the result, so also, this is only the result, which is what is said, is it so? The pervasive is the determinant, which has a related object. The uncertainty of what the nature of wood fragrance is, is sometimes. The wood that has wood fragrance, and what others have, also has it, but only what dwells in it is knowable, not what others have. Fire is also definite in smoke and has other aspects, so it is the main and non-main object of the cause, but it is not always the cause. The uncertain is knowable by the nature of certainty, not by others, because if one holds the difference of what is produced by it, then it is what is desired to be manifested, so it is said. The reason for knowing, its nature, and one different, etc., if it does not turn into uncertainty, then it is the reason for the certainty of knowing. What does not follow it is the absence of a definite follower. Or that, is the pervasive or the cause. That is the pervasive or the result, the reason is the definite. What does not follow it is what has no follower. Therefore, uncertainty is not certainty, which is the meaning. Even if it is not so, it follows it, but it is the determinant.
