Some say that this is just desire. The explanation for "inference" and so on is: For the realm of inference, this is not considered a valid means of knowledge. Because inference is not allowed here, because it is completely examined and completely accepted. Because it is "doing." Existence itself is determined from the valid means of knowledge that harms the aspects that are inconsistent with momentariness, but from the scriptural authority, it is only wanting to understand from there, not to determine the things to be inferred. At that time, it refers to the Victorious One (Jina). The commentary is clear. At that time, "thus" refers to the one with the divine eye. You people, refers to you people who are not other, not inferior, but superior, this is its synonym. All scriptural authorities, means for all to understand everything. After examining, it refers to what is made by humans and the other that also arises from sound, because it has no connection with meaning itself. Therefore, because it is not acknowledged that scriptural authority contradicting scriptural authority is a valid means of knowledge, accepting scriptural authority in order to want to understand, and abandoning it at the time of inference, therefore, they say that the inference itself that is accepted will also be abandoned, this is what is called "that great debate abandonment." At the time of inference, accepting and abandoning is also not done in order to determine, and at the time of wanting to understand, accepting it as what can establish is contradictory, this is the view of the Victorious One (Jina). By establishing the desire to understand, by establishing the valid means of knowledge, it becomes the object of acceptance, what is shown is: This is the method of acceptance, it refers to inference. Acceptance means approaching wanting. Even at that time, because the desire to understand is established, even at the time of inference, it still follows existence, but because it has no connection with meaning, it is not a determiner, therefore it is not a limb. Is inference not a method of acceptance? Or, even the qualities of space are only existence, and are impermanent, because they are made. Some say, therefore, "thus two realms," that is, thus, because there is no contradiction. The two realms refer to direct and inference, just like the realm of selflessness that does not arise without it, it is the time of acceptance.

At that time, it is when admitting the harm. The qualities of space itself are not non-existent if not produced, because they contradict impermanence itself, which is the view of the Victorious One. It is clear in the commentary. Even at that time, how can it be harmful since there is no certainty about the meaning? To this saying, it is said to contradict this. If it is said that precisely because there is no certainty, there is no difference, just as later, why not hold the scriptures even when the object is completely pure? To this saying, it is said to be in the third place, meaning that after establishing it from valid cognition, it is to acknowledge the scriptures for the purpose of understanding that it must be obtained, but not for obtaining it itself, because it is meaningless. "After examining" refers to the two objects. It, that is, at the time of admission, it is certain that it contradicts the appearing scripture, and the thought is that this opponent is fully aware of it. Connect again with the word "again." Discrimination is because the time is long, exceeding the time of holding the scriptures, and without discrimination, in any case, even if it is admitted, it does not cause harm at that time, because it depends on the time of admission, which is the temporary meaning. The nature of the dharma established from the scriptures, for the inversion of completely giving happiness, the scriptures cause harm, just like the dharma, because for the proposition of its own nature, it itself is valid cognition. For the nature of matter and qualities, etc., it is also shown that it is not contradictory, that is, there, it refers to the harm of the scriptures. "Without which it does not arise" refers to the self-nature of that which is established by scripture. "Not other" refers to those that are not matter itself, etc. Even if it has been determined that the scriptures cause harm, it also shows that the harm caused by related inferences, etc., is also to be abandoned, that is, there, it refers to the harm caused by inferences, etc., such as the selflessness itself for impermanence itself. "Not other" refers to those that are not related, such as the qualities of space itself. The commentary explains the meaning of approaching and collecting, with the words "This exists." With the proof of "without which it does not arise, it is meaningless." Self.
