That, called "is," is thinking. Not relying on reality means not relying on valid cognition, and because it contradicts itself, because it is not a valid cognition itself, and because valid cognition harms oneness. Because of arising and because of impermanence, isn't the knowledge called "is" establishing what is already established for all the world, like direct perception? If you say so, then it is called "meaningful," referring to direct perception and so on, as well as smoke and so on. That called "non-existent" is because the opponent himself has admitted that it is not a valid cognition. Therefore, what is determined by all the world, the recognition of having seen before, if it is said that this harms those who assert no-self, that is unreasonable. A correct proof is also what is to be proven, isn't it everything that can be established from any aspect, such as omniscience and so on? If you say so, then it is called "exists," meaning that non-real things are not proofs. That called "similar to non-existence" is like recognizing fire from a swarm of bees and so on. If so, then how about omniscience, momentariness, and all emptiness? If you say so, then it is called "nature," nature is momentariness. To establish detachment, this is the fruit; for omniscience, this is the truth, that is, showing without error. Seeing the truth, and not seeing grasping and the other, etc., this is for emptiness. That called "that connection to reality" is the connection of nature to what is to be proven. What is established refers to direct perception and so on. For oneself, that is, for the opponent Buddha, why is it not established? Because what is admitted by others, how can it become a proof? Indeed, the dream consciousness of the Samkhya school, having such an appearance, is also a proof, if you say so, then it is called "others also," that is, through understanding. The explanation is clear. That called "observed by others," if it is done sequentially, then it is impermanent. Otherwise, it happens simultaneously, if you say so, then for self and so on, there will be faults. If the subject is not established, then how is your proof established? Because it is uncertain, if you say so.

The reason for saying "because the two are related" is that the two dharmas are the nature of pervader and pervaded on other subjects. If one is missing, i.e., the pervader, then the other, i.e., the pervaded, will be negated. Some say that even if it does not exist on the subject, it itself and the other will not be contradictory. If there is no tree, there are no leaves, it is not like that, because uncertainty arises from the unobserved that is not permissible. For the particular, it is not permissible, and for the general, it itself is permissible, so it must be clearly stated. If there is no pervader on the unspecified object, then claiming that "in order to establish the pervading, this is needed to cause harm" is the view of the Victorious One. The two are dharmas, i.e., result and nature. Relationship, i.e., close relationship, is established on other subjects, so it will not lead to faults. For example, for the author himself, the sequential and non-sequential pervade the pot, etc., and it will also lead to faults for me and other things. Non-sequential, i.e., each moment is different, so it is impermanent, because it contradicts permanence. Fiction is also a contradictory object, such as existence and non-existence. Even if it is simultaneous, it is not the author of other moments, so it is non-existent, so it is not a proof, because it is uncertain for the unestablished subject. Pervasion is the category of uncertain objects, because it is said that "even if they are not there, it does not exist," so it can be understood. If there is no reason, the subject will not change, so the root arising from the root is the harm, because it arises when reasoning is done. Therefore, refuting and showing its pervasiveness is not a fallacy. Because the differences of place, time, and circumstance are clearly determined, and mixed with one, so there is no nature separated from other properties, therefore, through the nature of "one and many," it pervades one and variety. If they are not different, then changing one will cause all to change
