It is unreasonable to argue that speech made to dispel the misunderstanding that it follows after the meaning of others (inference) has deficiencies such as incompleteness, this is the view of Gyalwa Chen. "Words are the cause of inference, therefore they are inference, but not direct perception, because they are not the cause of direct perception," this is explained through "How from words." "If memory arises from words, then the memory itself, which does not arise if the thing to be proven does not exist, is inference," this is explained through "three aspects." "Memory is not direct perception," this is explained through "self-awareness." "Why does it not arise from words?" This is explained through "From smoke, here too." "To that" refers to the thing to be remembered, or the thing to be expressed to memory, which is words. "Meaningless" means that because it makes the uncomprehended meaning comprehended, so (words are meaningful), because it is the refuter. "Understanding arises" means that it has been understood. "The meaning is this" means that the inference similar to that arising from words, is also the meaning for direct perception. "On the result, it transforms into the nature of the inference similar to that, it is also so for one's own meaning, because it is not sequentially related to that itself, so it is not one's own meaning," this is explained through "self-meaning inference." "What is said here" refers to the refuter. "Even if self-nature is established on one's own meaning, the result itself will not be lost," this is expressed by saying "What contradiction is there?" "For the meaning of others, it will be lost," this is expressed by saying "inferring with the meaning of others." "How is it possible" means that for the meaning of others, it is only self-nature. "To others" refers to the result. "How is it possible" refers to the meaning of connection in the establishment of the argument, and if this (argument) is not established, for the meaning of the argument, and if both are not established, for the meaning of both. "Words are valid only by way of inference, therefore they are valid, but not otherwise," for understanding in this way, it is explained here through "for words" that it is not so, because words that are not inference are also valid, the refuter is explained through "as it is said." "Will it not exist?" It is because it also arises from memory. "Having such meaning" refers to direct

It has the meaning of understanding things like the three. The term "like direct perception" means that it is said that direct knowledge arises from the words of the scriptures. If one asks how inference becomes a reliable source, the answer is that it is because of the connection, which is what is meant by "following" and so on. Someone says that the scriptures also change like inference, to which the answer is "or." What is to be expressed is precisely the elimination of misunderstanding of language, that is, "for others." The so-called "seen by others" means knowing from the scriptures. "The words of my seeing" refers to the language of one's own seeing. The so-called "oneself" means that if, through definitive grasping, all that is seen by others is completely excluded, then the sign established by oneself from the scriptures will be obtained, someone says "if that is the case." If it is determined to be "only others," then because one's own seeing is prevented, it becomes established on both, what is to be expressed is "not, but both." What arises from one's own statement is the power of sound, and entering into others is through its influence, what is to be expressed is "how it exists." The so-called "its meaning" means that it does not correspond to the meaning of eliminating misunderstanding, it should be connected in this way. The so-called "for whose meaning" means for the meaning of what one wants to express oneself. Because "only others" is prevented, it is obtained, therefore "others" refers to the opponent. "Others" refers to the opponent. "Completely knowing" refers to the opponent's. "For others" refers to the opponent. "Oneself" refers to the debater. "For others" means because it is established on the opponent. "Right there" means the debater completely knows. "Because whoever is like that, therefore." Even if in fact one does not understand oneself, but is speaking as if one does, is it not that others understand? In order to express that if one understands, language will arise, it is said "because seeing the other shore." Even if the speaker himself does not understand, others will understand, the meaning to be expressed is that it is not understood through names and so on. The so-called "oneself also" means that it is understanding, it should be connected with the scriptures. Someone says, what one sees oneself, only others see, thus acknowledging from the scriptures the scriptures seen by others, why is that? To this the answer is "completely examine," that is, inference.
